I bought this from Farmers last year, I can't remember the price but I am looking forward to seeing Napoleon products in David Jones when that opens up in Wellington. The colour I have is Witty In Pink and it's a nice soft pink that I love very much for work makeup. My first real lip pencil and the quality of this product has set my expectations of a lip pencil pretty high. The product is very smooth and made my lips feel soft and moisturised. I have used this as a lip liner and under gloss as well as all over my lips on it's own. I find this product very versatile and simply quite pleasant to use. I have used one other lip pencil since purchasing this but the other product just didn't make my lips feel wonderful like the Napoleon Perdis lip pencil did.

I was only introduced to this lip liner because it was on sale for $15 when Napoleon was leaving NZ a couple months ago, and I loved the colour. I never gave these the time of day when they were full price. I only own a couple of lip liners, the others I own were pretty cheap but I thought they were good quality and did what lip liners were meant to do. Nope. I was wrong. Lip liners shouldn't wear off after 5min apparently.
The pencil I picked up is in the shade Hot Mocha, which is a really gorgeous deep medium brown shade. It goes on soo smoothly, is super creamy, doesn't feel drying on the lips at all and lasts for hours! It's the perfect colour for lining your lips for darker lippys, nudey browns, as well as being a great base for super nude colours to tone down the nude-ness. It's also brilliant just on its own because the intense pigment makes it look like it's a lipstick all in itself.
You have to sharpen it every couple of uses but I'm perfectly okay with that because I find retractable lip pencils are more dry than ones you have to sharpen. I'm a bit gutted that I only came across this pencil once Napoleon stopped being sold here, so fingers crossed it returns before I run out! I would absolutely pay full price for a repurchase of this, and would obviously love to try another shade or two. They're such amazing quality!
Tips: If you can find one of these, nab it!
I don't really use lip pencils in my usual make up routine so this is one of two in total that I own. I have this in shade pink slip which is a nice soft pink shade. When I use this pencil I usually use it over my entire lip if I am wanting to enhance the look and wearability of lippy over the top. This really helps to bring depth to the lippy or lipgloss applied over the top. As with most Napoleon products this is a cut above cheaper brands and is a good product overall.
