Gorgeous Lipstick!
This lipstick is seriously amazing! I have a trial/tester sized one I got off a friend and Oh My Gosh! Its great becuase you can lightly dab it on and use it as a stain, or put it on fully and have it as a full opaque lipstick. Really longwearing and feels so silky on your lips!

Absolute favourites
The Lancome Rouge in Love lipsticks are my absolute favourites, and have been for over a year now. Although they are pricier than many other brands, this is reflected in the quality of the lipstick. They are super pigmented, so a little goes a long way. Even after wearing these on an almost daily basis, I haven't made a particularly big dent in them.
I would describe the finish as 'creamy matte' which tends to develop more towards the creamy end of the scale during the day. They also have matching glosses if you are more of a gloss girl. They apply evenly, with two swipes providing amazing pigmentation. The tip is the perfect shape and point for an easy, perfect application. They are not labelled as 'long lasting' so they do not dry out your lips, however these lipsticks last better throughout the day than any 'long lasting' lipstick I have used. They remain pigmented and perfectly applied, with no feathering or smudging. I will apply my lipstick at 8.30am, reapply at 2pm after eating lunch and have pretty much perfect lipstick when I arrive home at 6pm. I do not need to reapply after drinking a coffee which is an amazing feat for a lipstick!
It was the colour range that really caught my attention. From a pink brighter than Candy Yum Yum, to soft romantic pinks and bold corals, there is something for everyone - with sweet names like Pink Bon Bon to match! I love a bold lipstick and when I reach for their bright pink I will be complimented on it daily. The Lancome Rouge in Love lipsticks are a beautiful investment.

I was lucky enough to receive a mini one of these in a Lancome GWP, I think this has to be the cutest mini, it is identical to the full size version but it is just a baby one. It comes in a silver casing with ‘rouge in love’ stamped on the side of the lid
I received this in the colour 159B when I first popped the lid off I think I let out I little squeak. Its red, BRIGHT red. Now I am not a bright red fan with the exception being Karen Murrell, but the rest nope.. Don’t go there. I did a swatch on my hand and suddenly my views changed, it looked sheer and glossy and not so bright red, certainly nothing like what I was seeing in the tube. So off I trot to the bathroom to put some on I apply about 4 coats to get a really nice red that I am comfortable with, one coat was very sheer and just looked like I had a gloss on. This is great if like me, you’re scared of the red. 2 coats and I had a gentle touch of colour that looked nice but still wasn’t enough, 3 coats and I could have stopped there but wanted to see if I could take it a bit further as it still looked just a tad too sheer and 4 coats well it just looked great. It was a stunning colour, it looks glossy and shiny and it didn’t have that really sheer look like the previous few coats.
The formula is so creamy and it glides on so easily, it doesn’t apply streaky another bonus as I have so many sheer lipsticks that apply streaky. It also has the most gorgeous very fine blue shimmer through it, but only noticeable if you hold it up to the light.
Then I thought oh dear applying that many coats is going to make it come off really easily well nope I was wrong again- It doesn’t, it transfers slightly but a lot less than I was expecting especially being quite glossy too. It lasts for a few hours before I need to reapply, it also stains the lips quite a bit too and it requires a good lip scrub to remove the remaining lipstick from your lips.
Overall though I am very impressed, from what I was expecting to never wear has turned into I want more, totally love it and will be adding more to the collection.
