Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara Review

I purchased a mini version of this and perhaps this is where I went wrong. This mascara wasn't as good as I expected it to be. The brush is rather large so I found it difficult to get into the corners of my eyes. The formula was dry and clumped my eyelashes together while leaving flaky bits under my eyes. It did increase the volume of my lashes but at the expense of looking messy and not the look I was after.

This mascara is so nice and extremely black, makes my lashes so full and thick and it lasts for ages. It did clump my lashes at first(dipped brush back in the tube a few times and that’s totally not necessary), but it’s easy to find the right balance as to how many strokes you can do before it starts clumping the lashes. It doesn’t crumble throughout the day, but sometimes I get it on my eyelid while applying and it needs to be cleaned asap, otherwise it dries on the skin. This clumps up the lashes, but another stroke with the mascara brush and it’s fixed. I now never double dip the brush because it’s such a wet mascara, it’s enough to do both lashes for me, I might have to start doing that when it starts running low, but so far it doesn’t look like it wants to run out soon and I’ve only got the travel size.

This is one of my favourite mascaras I've tried. It makes my short, wee lashes look so long and full. It definitely gives my lashes more volume and length, more so after extra coats, but still a lot with only one. The packaging is so pretty, and looks very high-end and good quality. The brush is quite big, but it works well and makes the mascara quick and easy to apply. It doesn't smudge or flake or clump together.

My only issue with this mascara is that I find that it dries up quite quickly compared to other mascaras I've owned. I have repurchased once and the mascara I own now, which I've had for a few months now, is not performing as well as it did when I first bought it. I still think it's worth buying just because of how gorgeous it makes my lashes look for the first few months. I will be repurchasing when I'm finished with the mascaras I'm using at the moment so that I get more use out of it and feel a bit better about spending close to $40 on a mascara lol.

This mascara has a cult following for a reason. It is by far the best I’ve used and even when I try others I always go back to it. It never smudges and makes my lashes look really long and black. I only ever purchase the mini size which lasts about 3 months. I’m shocking at remembering to change my mascara every few months so this way I never forget. A mini costs about $20 but as the formula is so great I’m happy to pay this.

First of all....love the name of the product. Its catchy and actually wants to make you purchase the product just to see if it lives up to its name. Love the pink gold packaging as well. With so many options available on the market it is hard to decide on a favourite, but this product definitely rank somewhere in the top 10 on my list. This product also has one of the better applicator brushes I've seen. The product applies easily and covers really well. It gives your lashes extra length and fullness in just one application. Would definitely recommend.

The packaging is unique and beautiful with the pink and gold and gives a good explanation on what the product does. Just a beautiful eye catching package

The tube itself is just the correct size to throw in you handbag or make up bag and saves a lot of space for travelling

The mascara does what it says it does and makes my lashes longer, volumises it, lengthens my lashes, and gives it an awesome curl. It goes on my lashes perfectly and is long lasting and durable as I tend to rub my eyes a lot. With this product you dont even have to spend money on false lashes as this product does an amazing job of giving you the same effect. A lot of products say the are waterproof but the first drop of water and your mascara runs, this product however have no such problems when cleaning my face I found that I have to rub a little extra to get my lashes clean. The only problem I have but I think it is because I already have longisg lashes that it does tend to smudge a bit when still wet, but other than that a great product and will definitely be only using this mascara from know on

I have used a lot of mascaras in my life and this is definitely in my top five favourites. The formula is lovely and it goes on so easily. The packaging is adorable as is all the too faced line which visually draws me to the brand. It does not transfer to my under eye or smudge about and will that the whole day and even longer. I recommend this as an excellent daily mascara

Highly pigmented, makes lashes appear super long and lushes. Takes a little while to fully dry but lasts all day and does not flake. I typically go between this mascara and another daily.

I am on my second round of this mascara. I think it is reasonably priced compared to some of the other brands in Mecca at around $36 I think. I had heard that this mascara had left some fall out under the eyes but when I tried it I never had this problem. It is a thick brush that really adds volume into your lashes and makes them pop. I have only found when getting to the end of the tube, it’s starts getting abit chunky. But a tube lasts a long time!!
