Maybelline Volum' Express the Colossal Review

The first time I wore the Colossal Volum' express, hydrofuge I was a bit worried because unfortunately I was going to a funeral and I was already a blubbering mess but it was the only waterproof mascara I had on hand. After crying for many hours I thought I would have black streaks everywhere but was shocked a few hours after the funeral when I looked in the mirror and my mascara was exactly the same as when I put it on. No clumps, no flaking or anything.I was impressed so much that I bought in bulk.

Looking at the reviews I decided to try this mascara and have tried a lot of different mascaras hoping to find "The One" and the majority were really good but this one is fantastic! Why I didn't try it earlier eludes me but all I can say is WoW. My lashes look so much longer giving me the eye pop that I have craved. The formula is clump free and gives volume, well I got this and length too. I didn't have any running and we have had some pretty hot days lately. This mascara is permanently staying in my make up kit I just love it.

I have been using this product for a number of years I love the big brush it has and its super easy to apply to all lashes I always go for black, and I do about 3 coats for along lasting dramatic look It works really well at separating your lashes and leaves no clumps Easy to wash off at the end of the day Can be purchased for a great price from leading supermarkets and department stores Definitely recommend this Mascara to all

I am currently Maybelline Volum' Express the Colossal and absolutely loving it. I was not happy with my previous one as it used to stick my lashes together and would form some tiny lumps. I was looking for a good mascara and luckily bought this one. I have short eye lashes and normally do not like to use fake ones. I am glad with my selection as this mascara makes my lashes long and beautiful. It brushes my each lash making it prominent.

I think this is a great, drug store mascara that's pretty cheap and cheerful. It does a good job making by lashes look thick and dark which is awesome! It also gives them some nice lift. It doesn't clump up but can gives you really good, dark, thick lashes. If you're looking for a more subtle, basic mascara I would look elsewhere.

It's super easy to apply but make sure you don't over do it!

I would probably buy this again but I think there are better mascaras out there that i would purchase ahead of this one. This is an awesome drugstore option though!

Love this mascara. I have short lashes and it gives great volume and makes thicker. I don't use often though as my eyes get tired. Not sure it's my problem or because of mascara. Anyway great to use here and there for special occasions.

I brought this at farmers during a sale - so I managed to get this and another product and the third was free. So it worked out to be a great price. I usually can get this at countdown also which is one of the things I love about it.. it's so readily available.

I would definitely use it again. It's very handy to get and works a treat. Coats the lashes nicely without clumping. Smooth to apply and doesn't snag. Wand is great also as it doesn't drag it might be the collagen in the formula that glides it across the lashes.

A tube lasts me a long time and that's with every day wear. I like it for every day it creates volume as it states but probably not a lot of length but if I wanted more length I would maybe do 2 coats or use a length formula.

Always a winner with maybelline.

Love a good mascara. One that doesn't clump and creates a nice look - basically if I buy one I want it to do what they claim and not make me look like I've got tar on my eyes.

I love using this for night time looks. I would save this for occasions where you want heavier makeup, whereas for the kindy run I prefer a more natural lash look (using great lash usually). So it's definitely a thicker solution that slightly elongates and definitely thickens the lashes.

It doesn't clump which is amazing as like I said the solution is thicker. Given its thickness it lasts a long time. I only needed one coat to achieve the desired look. So I definitely think it lives up to the claim of maximising volume.

The brush/wand itself is good - no trouble to use it. I have had some trouble with brushes in the past but this one was nice to use and allowed for easy application. It spread the solution really evenly which was a surprise as given the thickness I was thinking it was going to be too heavy but it actually wasn't.

If it's length your after I would perhaps use a length formula mascara. I'm happy with my natural length and do love adding length sometimes but for dramatic eyes for a night out this is one of my favourites especially when I'm trying for a smoky eye.

I do find it best to remove using makeup remover/wipes prior to showering as if I got some wash off in my eyes I get stingy eyes. Most can do this to me so if you have sensitive skin remove any makeup properly.

Love this mascara though it really completes a look.
