Maybelline Volum' Express the Colossal Review

I've had this mascara for a few weeks now and to be honest I've fallen in love with it. The brush is fantastic and the product glides on so smoothly it's hard to find a fault. I'm bright yellow packaging you won't lose it in your makeup bag, it screws and unscrews easily and application is a breeze. My only problem is the first few times my eyes got a bit irritated with use but that's settled down. Fantastic dark colour and application felt 10x better than anything else I've used. It stays well and no panda eyes for me at the end of the day which is good! (Has replaced lash stiletto as my #1)

Definitely love this mascara. Love the cute yellow packaging and also like that this mascara doesn't clump, alot of mascaras that I have tried I do have that problem with them. I also adore the wand it makes it really easy to apply the mascara which is always a plus. Both this mascara and the falsies mascara are in my good books. Maybelline has definitely done a very good job with this product.

A lot of people really love this mascara but its not really for me! I already have long eyelashes so when I used this product they went TOO long if that's possible.I also found that it clumped my eyelashes together and I prefer the more natural look with mascara - I like it too look as if I'm not wearing much. So I don't recommend if you prefer the more natural look but this would be fabulous for lengthening and thickening!

I am totally obsessed with Maybelline Volume Express Colossal lashes mascara!! I don't wear alot of makeup usually but always have mascara on and wow what a difference this product makes! My lashes double in size and I have had many compliments on my lashes and it's thanks to this. I love the bright yellow container it comes in too because it makes it easier to stand out in my makeup bag. The smell is of no big deal to me because it's very faint. I love it more because it's the only one I have tried that doesn't clump and that in a mascara is number one concern!

I have purchased this particular mascara a few times now, It lasts forever, It gives a nice and thick lash appearance. The packaging really stands out, and bright colours make me impulse buy. I have not found it to clump or dry out and you can apply with ease, also rubs off easily if you accidentally knock your face with the brush. It is also really affordable, I am happy with this mascara and would recommend it to others without hesitation.

I was given this in a gift pack I won. Having already been a Maybelline mascara fan I was keen to use it.

Love the bright yellow mascara with purple shimmery print, its attractively packaged and really catches the eye and being bright yellow is easy to spot in your purse or makeup bag.

I find this mascara great for every day use. Gives a lovely thick coverage but I need to sweep it onto my lashes about 3 times - not once as advertised.

I don't find it gives me any extra length but that doesn't bother me as my lashes are long naturally.

I find this mascara really easy remove just with a face wash and it doesn't leave black marks.

Would definitely purchase this mascara

I only bought this mascara by chance when my local Kmart was sold out of the falsies mascara and I was in desperate need. It turned out I actually really like this mascara, it does not however give you "collosal lashes in one coat". Seriously, it takes me around 4 coats of mascara to get thick, long looking lashes. I'm not complaining though, this mascara definitely defines my lashes and doesn't go clumpy. It's my favourite "everyday" mascara. I wouldn't recommend the non waterproof if you're going out dancing though as I did find the one time I wore it out it smudged, and the waterproof one is seriously hard to get off, so would go with the waterproof if you are after something long wearing

I love this mascara I think its great, the brush is awesome for getting thick and full lashes however it does not do what it says it does 'colossal lashes in one coat' no way. You need a decent few coats of this to get it looking good you would not be able to achieve the desired look with just one coat,unless you were going for a very natural effortless look. Other than not being entirely true to its word this is a great product if you layer it up :)

This isnt the best mascara ive tried, it put too much product on for my liking, had to get an older dry mascara wand to remove and divide my lashes to how i like it. also had a bit of a weird smell..

This is definetly one of my favourite mascaras! Makes my eyelashes look lovely and long and at the same time provides great volume without clumping!
