Maybelline Volum' Express the Colossal Review

This mascara provides a great amount of volume to your lashes and it does not clump together. i find the length of my lashes extend further with this mascara. Its great to use and easy to come off with, with soap or face wipes :)

I just LOVE this mascara! I am yet to find one I think better. Great jet black color, comes on smooth, does not look exceedingly false, and minimal clumping. Easy and gorgeous for stand out lashes for day or night.

i thought this mascara had a really strong, weird smell! Maybe it was just my one but it did nothing for my lashes and honestly the smell was so strong, my friend could smell it when it was on my lashes and she was about a metre away from me?!?! So I would definitely not repurchase but maybe it's just my bad experience? Definitely the smell wasn't right but even if I gmo red the smell, it did absolutely nothing for my lashes :(

I finally know what the rage is all about!! I was so happy with this mascara (buying it after hearing so many positive things) it gave me full and thick lashes. Would use it again for sure! The brush is amazing...thin bristles so no chances of those big ugly clumps. Separates and volumises eyelashes with ease!

I have used this mascara a lot. It gives insane length, doesn't clump and separates my eye lashes well. I found personally that it didn't give as much volume as other mascaras, but I'm sure this could be improved using it in combination with another. It is great because it doesn't get all flakey when you have been wearing it for a while. I always opt for waterproof mascara, and unlike some other brands, this is well and truly waterproof.

I have been buying Maybelline 'the Collosal', for about 2 years now. I absolutely love it! Not only is it affordable, but the scent is much more 'user friendly' than most other mascaras I have used. It smells more floral than toxic. My eyelashes are the perfect thickness, it doesn't clump (until it's 6 months old when you really should have replaced it). I hope Maybelline never stops producing the Collosal!

This is definetly one of my favourite mascaras! Makes my eyelashes look lovely and long and at the same time provides great volume without clumping!

This isnt the best mascara ive tried, it put too much product on for my liking, had to get an older dry mascara wand to remove and divide my lashes to how i like it. also had a bit of a weird smell..

I love this mascara I think its great, the brush is awesome for getting thick and full lashes however it does not do what it says it does 'colossal lashes in one coat' no way. You need a decent few coats of this to get it looking good you would not be able to achieve the desired look with just one coat,unless you were going for a very natural effortless look. Other than not being entirely true to its word this is a great product if you layer it up :)

I only bought this mascara by chance when my local Kmart was sold out of the falsies mascara and I was in desperate need. It turned out I actually really like this mascara, it does not however give you "collosal lashes in one coat". Seriously, it takes me around 4 coats of mascara to get thick, long looking lashes. I'm not complaining though, this mascara definitely defines my lashes and doesn't go clumpy. It's my favourite "everyday" mascara. I wouldn't recommend the non waterproof if you're going out dancing though as I did find the one time I wore it out it smudged, and the waterproof one is seriously hard to get off, so would go with the waterproof if you are after something long wearing
