Maybelline The Falsies Lash Lift Mascara Reviews

I am forever on the hunt for the perfect mascara so when the opportunity came up to try the new Maybelline mascara I was stoked! The packaging is simple with a silver tube, the wand is hour glass shaped with densely packed bristles. Upon using this I found I really had to give the brush a good wiggle to get into my lashes otherwise the product ended up coating just the ends. I found using 3 coats was the way to really get the full thick lash lift look that I wanted. My lashes looked long, full and if I'm honest a little clumpy. This mascara wore well throughout the day on my top lashes but I found my bottom lashes flaked off onto my cheeks by about lunch time which was annoying- a few sprays of setting spray the next day solved this issue.

Let's start with the products consistency it came out light and it have some slight clumps in it which surprised me for a new mascara maybe it was older. On the application the wand is thin and straight which helps coat every lash I did need to work it into my lashes for coverage and to remove the little clumps. So for this it's a 3 on coverage. I didn't really pick up any scent to the product itself that made me think wow that smells yum! Usage it would last until it becomes old and drys out I always throw mascara out within 2 to 3 months as I have sensitive eyes. Price point is about even for a drugstore mascara if you look around you will probably find it for 12 to 14 dollars which is much better than spending 20 odd dollars on it. The packaging is pretty the purple and silver colour is very maybelline designed to appeal to a younger age group. The product does provide results it does lengthen the lashes out to almost a natural but fake look which I prefer for day to day. My lashes are straight so it usually takes some work to achieve a higher lash effect. It only takes one application to achieve this which is great when you are about to go out. No transfer which is a bonus as I usually go for waterproof mascaras to avoid transfer. Overall I am happy with this product and would recommend it and I may even buy it again in future.

I have fine straight lashes. So I’m never really happy with a mascara. Until I used this one! It holds the curl of my lashes in place all day, isn’t clumpy, fans the lashes out, gives volume and curl. It also doesn’t smudge or crumble under the eyes. I have hooded eyes and oily skin so mascaras normally end up smudging on my eyelid. This one doesn’t! I can also build up the layers to add more of a dramatic affect.

I picked this one up with another one to compare them plus they had buy one get one half price. I normally wouldn't have bought this brand these days but double points on Maybelline reviews made it seem worth it. The brush is not something I usually go for and neither was the other one I got. The Maybelline The Falsies Lash Lift Mascara brush didn't seem that the brush was over loaded with product I tried with both mascaras to avoid dipping back into the tube and just keep combing and turning the wand through my lashes. This one seemed to give more favourable results faster than the other one I tried perhaps lashes do have a little lift but there's not much difference in terms of lift. This mascara did make lashes less seperate though a bit more grouped together and thicker looking faster. Adding more coats you need to work faster as this formula is dryer than the other I tried and dries fairly quick too. Adding more layers was going to give me clumpy looking spidery lashes. Results over all were fair though it's not bad decent length and definition but I would prefer a wetter formula so I could layer / spend more time combing product on. This formula isn't flaking after a few hours of wear like the other one has so that's why it gets a slightly higher rating. Not one I'm in love with.

This mascara is pretty good but a little flakey. It’s very good at making your eyelashes look completely huge. It’s prone to making your eyelashes spidery so if that’s something you don’t like stay away from this mascara. It’s also harder to to get off than my other mascara but not crazy hard.

I was so excited to try this out as maybelline is normally my go to brand for mascara. I unfortunately didn't have the best time with it but my mum loved it so I will give it to her. Maybeline falsies lash lift comes in lovely packaging with it being purple and silver and the font is easy to read. The name didn't ring true for me as it didn't lift my lashes but that's hard to do as my lashes are long and are stubborn to lift. I found that it was easy to smudge as well. The price range is pretty good at $22 at the warehouse and $26.99. Overall I'd say to give it a go because even if it wasn't for me, it's at a good price point and you may enjoy it more.

So, it definitely does what it says!!! Falsies without faffing around! It reminds me very much of the fancy 2 stage stuff I used many moons ago (white layer that created the false extensions than the dark layer which created the falsie appearance). The only thing that would make it better would be if it had some intense miracle curling formula in it, but I only say that as I have deep set/hooded eyes - but I have curlers for this so moving right along!

After trying this stuff I was quickly asked by my partner who the lucky guy was ...funny guy! Going to say they made the peepers pop enough for my lover to clench with concern momentarily - perfect.

This mascara really works! Creates extremely long lashes! I find it easy to use and even when in a rush it still looks good!! I don't feel that it clumps up either. I have a busy and fast-paced job, and this product stays on all day and doesn't smudge or run! It also added volume as well as length. I would get this product again!! 100%

First impression, very nice sleek outer packaging. It looks super modern, which isn’t important or relevant to function but a nice bonus. As far as effectiveness, it really didn’t perform any different to every other mascara like this on the market. The brush is a bushy figure 8 type, which I thought wouldn’t work well, on my sparse thin lashes, but was pleasantly surprised to find it worked quite well. I could get a reasonable length and volume; appropriate for day time and casual tidy makeup. However, I don’t feel I could build night time or dramatic volume without comprising on having issues like spider legs. One bonus was the end part was slightly ball like, which make it nice an easy to apply on my bottom lashes, something I typically struggle with.

Overall, I think it’s a great everyday mascara. It costs the lashes nicely, to get a natural look, but beyond that, you risk clumping and uneven patches if you aim for more layers and a dramatic looks.

I usually use The colossal range as i had a few friends raving about how good it was. As much as i loved the colossal i have traded it up and throwen it away as i definately prefer this one. Application was smooth and nice and easy. Clumping was minimal and the lift this gives without needing to curl my lashes beforehand was amazing. I love that this didnt smudge or transfer as i think this is my biggest fear while wearing mascara. All round love this mascara.
