L'Oreal Paris Lash Paradise Mascara Reviews

I first tried this has I heard is was a dupe for Too Faced better than sex and I agree. Its formula is thick and gives your lashes a great coat and keeps them lifted all day. I also don't get any transfer/smudges.

This worked wonders on my long lashes and received compliments on how long and beautiful my lashes looked. Did the same job as my other mascara I have from Mecca and this one is cheaper.

I’d heard the hype about this for the last 2 years. But I was happy with my Essence Lash Princess which is unbeatable on price. Now I’ve been getting bored with Lash Princess so decided to try this, which is a real splurge from the $7 Essence mascara.

But WOW was it worth it!

I’m seriously impressed with the volume Lash Paradise gives. It really fans put the lashes and they hold a curl for hours. Most important to me though is that there is no flaking or smudging throughout the day. I hate feeling self conscious that there might be smudged mascara on my face, but that has never been an issue with L’Oreal Lash Paradise.

I’ve only been using it for a month but I’m hooked and this is my new favourite.

First of all, I would just like to address a few comments I've seen online (elsewhere, not here!) comparing this to the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara, some comments even saying it is a "copycat". The only similarity is the colour of the component. The wand and formula are both very different. Lash Paradise actually has quite a dry formula, which I know a lot of people actually prefer. I personally find it easier and less messy to work with a dryer formula. I didn't find it particularly volumizing or lengthening to be honest. I found it to be quite a light, subtle effect. I think it does a good job of separating the lashes and it isn't clumpy. I did experience the tiiiniest bit of flaking under my eyes, but not enough to deter me from using it again. I will continue to use and and I think I might experiment with using it in conjunction with my other mascaras to see if I can get more volume or length going, but still enjoy the lash separation I get from Lash Paradise. Removal was fairly easy. Didn't have to do anything extra or special to remove it all.

It has been a while since I used a mascara with a traditional wand (rather than a comb). The packaging is lovely and sleek and the wand is very fat and coats every lash. This reminds me of the Lancome 'Monsieur Big' Mascara in the wand and the results - which is great given the price point for this is much more accessible. This lasts well and doesn't smudge under the eyes at the end of the day. I find this build-able and a great all-rounder to thicken, lengthen and define lashes.

It does exactly what it says, the volume and length is amazing. I don’t have long lashes so I usually pick a Mascara that can do this and the L’Oréal Paris lash paradise mascara does. I would recommend to anyone looking for volume and length. I wore it to work which is in hospitality and it lasted all day without smudging. It’s not waterproof so consider this when purchasing, I used micellar water to remove. Pricing online seems to be reasonable for a mascara. Very easy to apply, went on smooth. Great mascara overall I will be purchasing in the future.

What I’m loving most about this mascara is that it looks exactly the same at the end of the day as it does when it’s first applied. It’s easy to build up for more volume and doesn’t run . I had one of “those days “ the other day and a few tears were shed and my mascara didn’t budge. While it does add volume it only adds a little length. I would definitely recommend this mascara to friends and have already bought a back up. The wand is on the larger side so if you have small eyes it probably wouldn’t work too well for you. I did get some under my eye and it was difficult to get off without smudging it but otherwise a great mascara

Perfect mascara. I ordered this to try something different, and I was not disappointed.

I hadn't tried L'oreal mascaras before and had been using two other mascaras instead. This is now become one of my favorites.

I love the rose gold tube, as it's so pretty. It's what originally enticed me to purchase it.

The wand is a decent length and coats my lashes really well. The mascara is amazing and one of the best formulas I've used. It doesn't clump or smear. As it doesn't smudge, I'm not left with panda eyes like with other products. This mascara definitely delivers the goods.

My lashes are left coated evenly and volumized. I've had compliments from coworkers on the length of my lashes after using this mascara.

I will definitely be repurchasing this mascara!

It's a beautiful mascara - the packaging is really lovely, the rose gold casing feels of good quality, and the handle is a nice good size to hold.

I found it easy to apply with the standard 'zig zag' method, it evenly coated my lashes, and it was easy to go in after and catch the inner corner lashes.

It layers well - just don't leave it to dry for too long between coats.

I would happily repurchase!

I have mixed feelings about the L'Oreal Lash Paradise mascara... it's so close to being perfect but doesn't quite tick all the boxes for me.

Pros: - The wand is nice and dense and grips every single lash, giving a full and fluttery effect. - I get great volume and length when I use this. - This mascara holds a curl like nobody's business. I don't curl my lashes but when I use this my lashes look freshly curled all day long. - The price is decent - it normally costs around $27 which is a steal compared to the high-end mascaras I normally buy.

Cons: - The formula is quite dry and stiff so I don't think it will last long before it's too dry to use. The dryness also means it does flake a bit and I find little flecks of dry mascara that have fallen onto my face. - It doesn't layer well! I usually like to wear two coats of mascara but when I apply a second coat of Lash Paradise I often get clumps, and the product balls up weirdly on the ends of my lashes. I have to take my time when applying this and take care to not end up with lashes that look like actual insect legs.

Final verdict: I wouldn't tell anyone not to buy this mascara because it IS good once you figure out how to get it to work for you. But since it is a bit finicky I think there are other mascaras I'd recommend first. I think the brush is one of the best I've ever used though, so if the mascara was more of a "wet" formula it would probably be my favourite.
