L'Oreal Paris Lash Paradise Mascara Reviews

Thanks to BR for this trial :) Right off the bat let me say I am SO fussy when it comes to Mascaras, it literally needs to tick every single box for me to make it a staple - or I don't bother. Lets say I am up for trying mascaras and am on the look out for something affordable but does the jobs.

I have quite a few musts which include it must give me a natural look, it extends my lashes but not too much, easy to apply, I prefer waterproof but if its not I need to know it won't smudge under my eyes, easy to remove, doesn't clump.. OK thats alot!

This one claims to give intense extra black volume, spectacular long lashes, pleasure to apply and suited for sensitive eyes.

I like to test a product out before reading the claims to get my own thoughts on the product without any other influence and the things I noticed instantly was that yes it was easy and felt "nice" to apply, I noticed how my eyes weren't sensitive to the product and noticed it gave me a really natural look. I see on the box it has gentle oils in the ingredients.

Though it gave me a natural look, it wasn't intense as claimed on the packaging. It didn't extend my lashes too much either, I had to go over my lashes about 5times to get length.

Unfortunately I won't use this again as only after a couple of hours it left black marks under my eyes (which to me is the #1 box it must not do), it did this too on application of one layer. I noticed too that it was quite difficult to remove off my eyes with makeup oil and micellar water - my skin felt pulled from trying to remove it. Even after removal I had marks under my eyes when I woke up in the morning.

Sorry guys won't be using this one again!

The product is made in Italy. I really like the packaging. It comes in a sleek sophisticated but yet simple tube.

The Lash Paradise has a soft bristle brush allowing me to get right up against every lash from the root to the tip. I find the brush works really well for separating and spreading the lashes out evenly, adding length and definition. The bristles also add volume as they thicken the lashes for a beautiful finish.

The product is easy to apply. The formula is smooth, not too wet clumpy and no smudging. It has long lasting formula, didn’t smudge or flake throughout the day. I only go up to the second coat, and that is enough volume for me. I had Lasik eye surgery 6 months ago so I am really careful when it comes to eye products. This mascara did not irritate my eyes!

If you want thick lashes, lots of volume and nicely separated lashes, give this a go.

Definitely loved this mascara! The colour was great, so dark so made my eyelashes pop unlike other products that are a “lighter” black. It didn’t clump my lashes together, and made them appear much longer. The packaging was so cute aswell!

Firstly, I loved this mascara. I found it easy to apply, it didn't clump, and my lashes looked long and glossy but didn't leave any wee black dots on my brows (which drives me crazy with some slow drying mascara!). After using it for a few weeks and really loving it, I lost my make up purse for a month. When I found it again and used the mascara, it seemed to have dried out a bit or something, and I found it very clumpy to use. During the month that I didn't use it, it was sealed tightly, so I am not sure why the formulation seemed to have deteriorated. It was enough to make me think twice about buying it again, as I am concerned that it might become clumpy quickly again. If I see it on special I may try again, as I did love the look of my lashes!

I had been using better than sex mascara for quite some time and then thought I’d give this a go because the brushes looked similar and I was pleasantly surprised to find this product is a great dupe at half the price. I like that the black is really black and the brush isn’t overly big. My only issue with this product is the scent, to me it’s quite strong and kind of floral which is just strange in my opinion. I will keep buying though.. love L’Oréal mascaras!

What can I say about the packaging... Well its right on trend at the moment as rose gold is popping up everywhere. Sleek and simple, just what I like in a mascara. The wand is super bushy making it really easy to coat the lashes and give the volume needed. Only down point I found was no taper to the wand made it harder to give more precise product to the outer and inner corners. The product has a subtle scent and its quite pleasant. It goes on nice and smoothly without any clumping. I did notice it dries rather quickly too which is a bonus but if you want to do extra coats like I do for fuller and longer lashes, don't muck around too long.

Overall I found this a really simple and basic mascara that does deliver in its promises and I like the look it gave my lashes. I'll definitely continue to use this product, but I didn't find anything unique about it to make me buy it over other similar mascaras.

I really liked this mascara. I felt like the brush was the perfect shape to get all of my lashes without moving in awkward ways to get the corner ones. The liquid is smooth and not clumpy at all!! To me volume always means clumpy but this stuff is super silky and doesnt make you look like spider eyes. Wasnt sticky on my eyes or feel heavy at all. Also came off cleanly with makeup wipes!!

I really wanted to love this as it made my lashes look fully and long. Exactly what I hope for in a mascara!

This mascara is a mouse texture and does not start out annoyingly wet like some. I was surprised that this is fragranced so be aware of that if that’s something that concerns you.

The wand reminds me of Too faced Better than sex and since I have eyes on the smaller side I did have to be a bit more carefully then I normally would be. With only a few coats I got the desired looked I hoped for.

Sadly this did not last well for me and throughout the day I had to carefully sweep crumbles away. Over the following days I applied less and still had the same problem.

As a teacher who does not have time to fuss with my make up throughout the day this is a miss for me. I need something that stays out for 12 hours. I will keep using this for shorter make up days as I really did like the way it made my lashes look.

I knew I didn’t like the first edition of this mascara when it came out. Lauded as the discount version of TF BTS but I didn’t like that mascara, or L’Oréal’s. Both flaked and smudged on me terribly (for reference my holy grail mascara is Loreal feline voluminous in the green tube). This however is absolutely an improvement and I would switch to as I believe my HG has been discontinued. It promises volume, length, and no clumping, flaking or smudging. It delivered...just not as much as my favourite. I will definitely be using up the rest of the tube though and would recommend to anyone to give it a second go.

This was such an exciting mascara to try! I have quite long but very sparse eyelashes and I find it really hard to find a mascara that gives me volume without looking clumpy. I also tend to find that most mascaras rub off under and above my eye where my eyelashes touch the skin. This was not the case with this mascara!

I found that the wand gave me really nice volume but didn't clump my eyelashes together, or leave small blobs at the tips. It has quite a smooth consistency and is a very lovely deep black that really makes your eyelashes stand out!

I really enjoy the way this feels on my lashes, it's quite nourishing and doesn't leave them dry or flaky. I did still get a tiny bit of mascara rubbing off onto my skin where my eyelashes touch, but this was at the end of the day and I have very oily skin so this probably wouldn't be an issue for everyone.

Overall, really enjoyed my experience with this mascara and will definitely continue using it!
