Maybelline Volum' Express the Colossal Review

If I could marry this mascara I would. I love wearing this mascara alone or with a coat of another mascara. This one is great for volume and its definitely my go to mascara. I ALWAYS have an extra 1 or 2 of these laying around

This has always been one of my favourite mascaras, Whenever I wear it I always get asked what mascara I'm using. It goes on thick and gives the appearance of fake eyelashes. I find I don't have to use much so it lasts a long time. It's great to find an awesome mascara at such a great price. It's worth every cent.

I have stubby little eyelashes and i am always on hunt for a good mascara, i bought this product in a mad rush, i just grabbed the first waterproof one i could find. I got home to try it and it ...was....AMAZING, the wand is skinny and applies evenly, and instantly my eyelashes were 5 times longer, it literally looked like i has falsies on! Highly recommend this mascara and its a pretty reasonable price for what it does :)

I grabbed this as somethin different but i felt it made my eyelashes to thick, would recommend it if you love thick long eyelashes

I love this mascara, It made my lashes so plump which I loved! I have quite fair and thin lashes and this has made such a difference, this is so much better than some of the other mascaras I have tried before

The mascara doesnt seem to clump too much, although I do find putting the mascara casing under the hot water tap helps to smooth the mascara out and make it easier to apply.

Easy to apply, nice and smooth, no clumps and I find it lasts ages too! Compact enough to fit in your purse, or even your pocket for later application :)

This is my all time favourite because it is the only mascara that I can find that is 100% waterproof. I'm a swimming teacher, I don't normally wear a face of makeup to work except on the days where I have uni beforehand. Now I don't want to be teaching and having black running down my cheeks.

This is literally the ONLY mascara I have that is completely water resistant and looks amazing. It keeps my lashes looking thick and black and doesn't melt off in the pool. I've even tried other Maybelline mascaras (including Falsies and Mega Plush) and they don't match up to this one.

I have tried other waterproof mascaras and while they don't melt, they do flake off and you're left with black flakes on your cheeks.

So, its completely waterproof.. this does make it hard to remove, you'll need a decent make-up remover, but I find I can get it off with a make-up wipe. I, personally, am not bothered by this because it does exactly what I want it to do, I do know they offer the same mascara in a non-waterproof formula if that's more your thing. Although, I find a waterproof formula holds a curl better, and is more build-able if you want super thick lashes.

I will definitely be re-purchasing. They sell it at my local Countdown too which is extra handy. So if you're looking for a mascara that does the job, and will stay on through tears, rain, exercise and swimming.. THIS IS IT.

Always have a tube of this mascara in my beauty kit. Have tried other expensive brands but always turn back to this. Mascara only lasts a month or so before you should renew it, so I just cant justify spending lots of cash. This mascara is affordable and does the same if not better job than more expensive designer brands. Keeps my lashes thick and smudge or smear.
