Maybelline Volum' Express the Colossal Review

I really liked the shape of this brush! It covered most of my lashes in one stroke. And the formula was really dark black which gives a bold look. While I did like colossal, I found that it can clump and also flake or be lumpy.

This mascara makes my eye lashes look big bold nd beautiful resulting in a positive and confident feeling when i go out! Would so recomend this to anyone interested in purchasing mascara!! Though somtimes will rub off easier than hoped

I liked this mascara but didn't love it. I love the brush though. I didn't find it made my lashes appear thicker but did add length and separated them too which I liked

this is my favourite go to mascara. it has a nice fat brush and has good coverage at an affordable price

Be careful with this because too many coats and all your lashes go from colossal to cluster. The formula doesn't tend to stay nice for long either, after about 3 weeks mine seems to go super gluggy and almost impossible to apply nicely. But for the first two weeks it's a godsend :)

I actually stole this mascara from my sister when I forgot to pack my own in my make-up bag (I was using Dior thicklashes). Turns out this mascara did a much much better job at volumizing my lashes than my Dior! I've only used a couple of others other than this one, but, this would be my pick!

I first saw this thick yellow tubed product in the makeup bag of a friend's teenage daughter, and then again on the bathroom shelf of another, which led me to believe that I might be too old for the product. The price tag kept it a little out of my 'I'll just try it and use it' tendencies for a while, and then I figured I would jump right in the deep end. The brush was thicker than I'd normally use, and the mascara was slightly dryer, although it definitely gave some oomph to my eyes. I found that it smudged a little on my lids and that I had to follow up with a cotton bud to remove the excess, but it was great when applied on top of my usual mascara to give that further boost of impact. I'm glad that I've tried it but it's not something that I will regularly purchase. If someone gave me a free one, I wouldn't say no however xx

This stuff is amazing! I use it all the time! The brush is perfect for spreading the mascara evenly over your lashes and it doesn't clump at all! Plus it smells amazing too! :)

This mascara definitely gives volume. The brush is fantastic, I love big brushes as it makes application less tedious. One layer of application is enough for me, I feel anymore and my lashes would clump. I do however get product transfer under my eyes after a hour or two. So I have to make sure I check my eyes after awhile.

I've been using this mascara for over a year and I love it. I love the extreme volume it gives me, i even get asked if i have false lashes on. The wand is super big and slightly curved so its perfect coverage for every bit of my lashes :)
