Maybelline The Colossal Cat's Eyes

people rave about this mascara so much and i find it pretty bad! it clumps and becomes very thick and sticky. doesn't extend eyelashes at all and leaves them feeling heavy and yuck.

This mascara is amazing. You know why? Because I had it for over a year in my kit, tried it and it was in better condition and worked better than when i first bought it and used it. Gave me lush lashes, and they were FIERCE. Heaps of volume, loads of length, heaps of colour.. perfect. Not as good as the original falsies, but still pretty bloody good.

When this mascara says cat's eyes, it means it. It gives your lashes the length that every girl desires but zero volume so you look like you have very few lashes. While the packaging looks nice, it wasn't my cup of tea. I prefer a much fuller lash. What I loved about it though, was the length I got, so I started using it over top of my base mascara and it gave me perfect length without having to use false lashes and without giving me cats eyes. Amazing product when used right, however mascara varies on different people. Different people love different lashes, it's hard to give a lot of people an amazing mascara because we all prefer different things in lashes/mascaras.

The packaging is what drew me to this mascara in the first place, and im glad it did. I love it. The wand is amazing, its curved which makes it easier to apply and actually helps keep the curl in your eyelashes. It doesn't clump and will stay on all day. Its also reasonably priced. Would 100% recommend.

I have tried several of the maybelliene mascaras and this one is definitely a favourite. Rather than looking for volume, I look for a mascara that will make my eyelashes look super long and this mascara definitely achieves that! It never clumps and isn't thick so it makes my eyelashes look naturally long. Love it!

This is my favourite of all the Maybelline mascara's. The wand makes it so much easier to apply without getting the mess everywhere! Will continue buying this and totally recommend!

I absolutely LOVE this mascara and the packaging. Its so easy to apply and makes my lashes seem much fuller. The wand makes it 10x easier to apply. I have tried many others after this one but I find that I'm always going back to this.

So I recently purchased one of these and found that the shape of the brush actually irritated my lashes it also caused clumps and an uneven coat on lashes. The packaging is good as its a bright yellow and will be very hard to lose as for price I got mine on special so I wasnt too dissapointed.

I was really disappointed by this mascara compared with maybelline's range it isn't very good. It promises these big voluminous eyes but what you end up with is just tinted eye lashes. Colossal cat eyes brush is curved so you think that it helps with curving your lashes, it doesn't. Does it improve your volume? Barely. Whenever I use this, I am reminded of the money I wasted in buying this mascara. Don't waste your time and money buying this. It's not clumpy, that's the only thing it has going for it.

I’ve had some great experiences with Maybelline mascaras in the past, and so my expectations of this product were quite high but unfortunately it didn’t quite make the cut for me. The consistency of this mascara was just right – not too thick, not too runny, but I found the application of it a bit messy. The instructions are to brush in one long sweep from the roots of the lashes, but I found every time I have done this, I have gotten the mascara all over my eyelids. I’ve tried not going as close to the roots, but then it doesn’t seem to work as well. I did see it lengthen my lashes, but separated them too much for my personal liking. Overall, I don’t mind this mascara, but it’s not my favourite. I won’t be purchasing this one again unfortunately.
