This mascara is amazing! Its super affordable and does what it says it will. Gives my short, straight lashes serious volume and length that lasts all day. The only issue I have is it's quite a wet formula and often smudges on my eyelid, but it's not hard to wipe off with a cotton bud.
Quite hard to remove when washing my face so I have to use eye makeup remover before cleansing to prevent panda eyes!
First mascara I purchased, which I was pleased with. The formula is great, it lengthens your lashes nicely without making them clumpy. The wand is the perfect size and shape, not too big and not too small, and it has a slight curve which makes application easier. Love the packaging too! Would definitely recommend.

I’ve definitely started refreshing my mascaras more often than I use to and stumbled across this wee gem. As usual farmers had a sale and I picked this up super cheap which was one of the most appealing factors.
I am also a huge fan of the brush. It coats nice and evenly. Spreading my lashes while it goes and lengthening. It doesn’t look thick and clumpy when worn and thank goodness because I’m not a fan of unnatural looking lashes.
It’s a nice formula I find it doesn’t tend to spread, crumble or flake and it also dries pretty quick. It is a bit of a tough formula to wash off but I find a little soak and it comes away nicely.
I definitely would repurchase I am a fan just like the majority of the other maybelline mascaras you can’t really go wrong.
I’m a stickler for trying new products. Something i struggle with though is finding other good mascaras. So I keep coming back to this gem. Its easy to apply, doesn’t get clumpy over time and isnt too thick. I have lightly coloured lashes so I do need to apply a couple of layers and in doing that I don’t get mascara build up which clumps my lashes together. So many others do that. This product keeps my trust and thats why i keep coming back.
Absolutely LOVE this mascara, my sister in law had amazing long lashes one night and I had to ask how, she told me after a week lol, I went and got it straight away and it’s the only mascara I use! Lasts days! Affordable as! Doesn’t clump your lashes! Gives amazing length and curl! So easy to remove aswell without pulling out your lashes with it! Highly recommend this mascara to EVERYONE!
I have recently had my lashes lifted so haven’t used mascara for a while. Once the lift and tint was gone, I realised I didn’t have any mascara (eek!) so I read through the BR reviews and chose this one.
I’m a huge EOH fan so was nervous to try something new. Luckily Farmers had a deal with buy 1 get 1 half price so I bit the bullet and purchased 2.
The packing is great with instructions on the back, and the product is a nice ergonomic shape. The wand is curved and designed for the inner curve to cover the roots, with the outer curve fanning out the lashes.
I have worn this for 2 weeks now and am in love. There is no flaking, no smudging and no clumping. My lashes look ridiculously long and just like they did with the lash lift. The product is easy to remove with a good makeup remover. It lasts all day and even coped with a few tears after a particularly bad day.
Tips: Make sure you follow the instructions for full coverage and a great fanned effect
I've just brought my third one of these. I really love the brush its a rubbery type instead If the usual bristles and is curved to give the fan effect. The wand is really easy to hold and use. It doesn't smudge or flake like some others do. I love that I don't end up with clumped lashes and they feather out really nicely.
Tips: Read the instructions to make sure you're using the right technique and check out the supermarkets as I find its usually cheaper there
Maybelline lash sensational mascara is my favourite mascara yet! Mascara is the one makeup product that I believe can transform a look, and this mascara takes that to a whole new level. Maybelline's lash sensational mascara opens up the eye as the curve of the brush helps lift the lashes, and create a subtle curve. The small plastic bristles, are perfect for separating lashes for the full fan effect. The inner curve of the brush is perfecting for getting right in the corner, for the smallest of lashes. The formula of this mascara is the perfect consistency to add volume and length as well. Another great thing about this mascara is that it washes of easily with gentle downwards swipe, but is also able to last all day without smudging. Overall, this is my favourite mascara ever, and will be using for a very long time.
Tips: To get even more volume and length try adding two coats, and don't forget to coat the tops of lashes too
I struggle to find mascaras that dont clump, flake or rub off onto eyelid! This one has solved all my problems!! The shape of the brush being curved which makes for easy application. And the plastic bristles rather than brush style stops the clumping. I do use the waterproof version as I prefer this and it is very waterproof but still easy to remove. I find I do a few layers and it lengthens like crazy which I love. Highly recommend and at a great price!
Maybelline has a huge range of affordable and amazing mascaras, which can be overwhelming. I have tried and love many, but I always come back to the lash sensational mascara. I love the lengthening and separating effect that it gives my lashes. I found it is a great everyday mascara, however you can add more layers for the perfect night out lash. I would compare lash sensation to benefit's roller lash mascara. - Both give a very similar effect. It also does not smudge under my eyes and does not dry out as quickly as other mascaras.
