I have three of these eye shadows, in the golden tones, the pinky beige and the red and blue. I found that all of the colours are quite pigmented dry, and even more so when they are wet. I use the sponge applicator to pack the colour and a blending brush to blend the colour out. The colours are reasonably easy to apply and blend out, and I have not tried them with a primer. The only disappointment with these eye shadows is the packaging as the smaller sections make it really hard to get the product out. Without the awkward packaging, I think these eye shadows would be a lot nicer to use.

I have this little quad in the purple variety. I love how it has a guide on the back for where on the eyelid you should put each colour to get a smokey eye look. I struggle with eyeshadow and knowing how to blend and what colours to put together so this really helps me achieve a great look. I use this without an eyeshadow primer and it goes on well, doesn't crease and lasts for as long as I need it to. I love the looks I've managed to create with this so far that I'm always upset when I have to take it off. The pigmentation is great and I really enjoy using it.
I liked the funky looking packaging and the idea to help you achieve the smoky coloured look. Instead I found how impractical the packaging was and that it made it difficult to use. The colours themselves are pretty and vibrant, but I thought a mix of glittery and matte might have done better. A bit of a let down
I bought the 'Sapphire Green' quad last year, before Rimmel switched to the current (impractical) packaging, so that is probably why I don't dislike this product so much as many other do.
The package recommends you use all four shades for a smokey eye style, but I find that the individual shades get lost and don't look so great on the lid when combined.
The pigmentation is nice and there's no fallout, but overall I'd avoid repurchasing.
I got this pallet in brown/beige/gold tones, i don't generally wear eyeshadow usually i just dust my eye lids with bronzer or thin lizzy's but if i'm going to use eyeshadow these are the tones i go for.
I chose this pallet because l liked the combination of colours and the cutesy packaging appealed to me, however i quickly discovered that the packaging is actually quite a terrible design. The sections are so small you need to dig the tip of the applicator into them to get the shadow out and this creates messiness. I got about half way through this pallet and then discarded it because it's just not convenient to use and i got annoyed with the shadow getting everywhere as i'm trying to dig it out of the ridiculously tiny sections.
The colours are very shiny, consistency of the shadow is fine but in the end i just couldn't be bothered with it.
These were more pigmented than I expected, which is nice, and come in cute packaging. The formula for these, though, I find to be quite clumpy and will crease after a little while. How the shadows are put in the packaging needs a re-think, too, as it's quite difficult to get some of the product out that is in the tiny little parts of the design.
I brought a couple of these because i thought the packaging was cute and something different nothing like any other small pallets i own. I loved the colours and the pigmentation is great, there so pretty and very easy to blend. The only down side of these are, you cant get your brush into the smaller parts, you end up picking up the colour beside it is-well which is a shame. Wouldnt buy again.
This product looked promising in the shade 'english oak' a lovely blend of beigey golden browns and subtle blush nude tones - but unfortunately this is just a glitter bomb on me, I am talking glitter everywhere after you have applied it and you get glitter fall out during the day. I wouldn't call the pigmentation vibrant or intense either. The worst aspect is the union jack format of the palette - looks cool but its horrible for getting the correct shade out of the palette and onto your brush all those tiny crevices filled with colour you can't use. Sorry but this is a no for me.
I am a sucker for all things Rimmel and couldnt wait to get my hands on these eye shadows. The colours themselves were great and easy to blend. But the packaging ruins it. It's difficult to get your make up brushes in the smaller parts which means there will prob be a lot of wasted product.
I haven't used Rimmel products for a long time and so it was a nice surprise to find the Glam'Eyes Brixton Brown in my Beauty Box. I'm always up for new eye shades and I love colour boxes! Its a nice little box for weekday take-to-work makeup bag though I threw out the little applicator because brushes work better with any product - and I will keep saying it! These colours are nice and easy to apply and blend well. Using them wet makes for a bolder and longer-lasting colour. I use the lightest as a base and have experimented with a smokey look using the darker colours with a smudged under the eye and doing a classic lighter blend. All this works and gives a good effect, and it does last well. I found that a few creases appear a few hours after a dry application, and a top up, re-blend is necessary. I definitely like the colours and at this price its a good buy. You don't have to pay a lot to achieve great results and this set proves it.
Tips: Blend, blend, blend!
