I haven’t purchased Maybelline eyeshadows for a long long time, I went for higher end shadows like Urban Decay, Anastasia Beverly Hills, etc. and I have to say I’m positively surprised at just how amazing and pigmented this palette is! All these shades are crazy pigmented, they look so amazing and pretty. The colours are beautiful and blend well together, they last the whole day for me, even though I work in a bakery, so working close to and opening ovens all the time, yet my eyeshadow game is still strong at the end of the day, I don’t really use a primer or base either, I just tap my powder foundation on my lids lightly with a brush and that’s it. This palette has 2 matte shades, a darker one on bottom right that’s perfect for my eyebrows and to smoke out my lower lash line and a medium brown colour to blend on the top right corner. Also one highlighter shade to go in the corners of my eye and under my brows, that’s on the top left corner in the palette. Depending on your skin colour you might be able to use the colour underneath this for highlighting as well though! The rest of the colours for me are all pretty eyelid colours and I love the darker shades to go all over the lid, if I’m feeling fancy I do half-half: darker colour on the outside half of my lids and a lighter one inside. I love how many different looks I’ve created already and I’ve only had this palette for about a week! Looks great with or without a black eyeliner on, I prefer without for day looks and liner for evening outings. I don’t really care for the brush that comes with the palette though, to small to hold comfortably, so I just use my own brushes. It would be great if there would be another blending shade like a medium rosey/plummy colour, because I’ll definitely use up that one matte blending shade first, but I’m not too mad about it as I have other palettes that have more matte shades that I can use alongside this palette. All in all, I highly recommend this palette, I think it’s great quality and if you like the look of the colours you will enjoy this palette a lot. I definitely should’ve given more attention to drugstore brands as I feel they picked up their game a lot in recent years!

This eyeshadow palette definitely kicked me out of my comfort zone when it comes to colours on my eyes. I tend to stick to neutral browns and creams, especially with wearing glasses I don't want anything too bright in behind my lenses! The palette has 10 shimmery shades and 2 mattes, I googled some burgundy tutorials to give me some different ideas/ways to wear these colours and experimented with quite a few. I took an instant dislike to the 'average' applicator they include with the palette, I thought the makeup world had moved away from the sponge tip applicators in this day and age? So I used my own brushes instead and am pleased I did. The eyeshadow glides on so smoothly and blends really well, I've had shimmery eyeshadows in the past that after the first initial use have lost their shimmer and it turns into a matte shadow underneath. These shimmers have not done that despite the amount of use they have had so far, they're still shimmery and still applying easily. The pigments are true to the colours in the palette and are extremely easy and smooth to apply In experimenting with the different colours I've branched out and have actually liked wearing colours other than browns. The eyeshadows are very long wearing and are still shimmery at the end of the day, not rubbing off or disappearing. The only colour in the palette that I'm scared of and won't wear is the one second from left on the bottom row. It looks quite dark in the palette but turned out a horrendous shade of a really bright dark pink on my eyes.... no thanks! Overall I'm very pleased with how this palette tested, and am going to be wearing more burgundy in the future.

I was crazy excited to be trying this eyeshadow palette because all the colours are me to a T! What beautiful shades!

This palette has twelve gorgeous shades that you can wear during the day right through into the night. Some are matte and some are shimmer . The Perfect Combination.

These eyeshadows have amazing staying power and no fall out at all. All of the colours blend in beautifully together and I've received so many compliments since trialing this palette.

You only need a small amount as the pigment is strong. I would highly recommend an will definitely purchase this palette again as I love the shades and it's made me also want to try and more Maybelline eyeshadows.

I was excited to try a new palette, I own quite a few but I think you can never have enough. There are 12 different colours giving you some good options for different looks to create. The colours were a mix of quite nude and pinkish tones which work well together. There is a small amount of shimmer which I love so that made me happy.

There are tips and suggestions on the back of the palette to help you if you are a bit of a novice, always nice to see what others can do with the same make up.

It comes with a brush, which has a brush on one end and a sponge on the other end. I actually dont enjoy using the brushes that come with palettes, I prefer my own.

I found that using a primer helped the shadow stay on for the day, I feel if you were going out after work you would need to freshen it up before you went out, but good for the day. A good point was there was no fallout, phew! That is the worst thing.

Overall I feel this is a good palette, easy to use. I dont think there is a lot of product in the pans, they seem a bit shallow but with make up having expiry dates that is probably a good thing, you may end up using it all before it expires.

The eyeshadows in this palette are a really high quality for the price with very minimal, if any fall out when used. I don't usually have big expectations for palettes in the lower-medium price range but this one really was a surprise. I felt personally this palette wasn't far off the same quality as my Urban Decay ones. All eyeshadows lasted super well throughout the day although I always use a primer underneath each time so I am unsure how they wear alone. There are two matte shades and the rest shimmers which personally I really loved! One shade did get hard pan after a couple of uses but it still seems to be fine to use and another eyeshadow pan lifted out of the palette and broke so perhaps the packaging could be better? Overall though the eyeshadow colours are so amazingly beautiful and I know I will get use from every shade. For the price I definitely recommend picking this one up!

I love the colours in this pallet and found the colour combos on the back super helpful, it makes it nice and easy for the amature like myself to create the perfect eyeshadow look. I also liked how the little applicator had a brush at one end as well as the standard eyeshadow applicator.

Love these colors. I'm not a big wearer of eyeshadow but these colour eye gorgeous. It was a fight with my mum and daughter over who was keeping them, I won but they both used it to.

The case is likely and it's great how you can see all the colours, nice and sparkly.

They went on smoothly and didn't cake or sit in creases. My mum is in her 60's and she said she's going out next week to buy it since I won't give it to her.

This was my fav product i have trialled in the Maybelline range the past week. With 12 shades to choose from I was spoilt for choice and fell in love with the rose golds to wear.

Its a warm coloured palette so great for those with a bit of colour in their skin ;)

Easy to apply as per most Maybelline products which is fab! I found it lasted really well when wearing too.

There are according to the back of the Palette 13 Looks you can create but I reckon we could create more than that with the colours of the Palette. It even has a great diagram on the back for those not so great at doing make up.

I used it most days to do duo looks depending on what i was wearing and going for the day.

Defnitely a worthwhile purchase especially if you want to add a lil warm glow and rose gold to your make up daily.

I found it great to wear and didn't really smudge if i rubbed my eyes which happens at times due to my contacts.

A rich nude palette with 12 different shades. Perfect for a day look or use the darker shades for a more moody palette.

The products had good depth and they lasted well. This is a very versatile palette that everyone can use, be it if you want a glamour look or a more natural look.

I've used palettes that cost twice as much and this is just as good. If you are considering a value for money long lasting versatile colour palette save your time and just grab this one.

You know when you see something on your screen, and you hope it looks as good in real life? I was so hoping I'd love this palette as much once I had my mitts on it. AND I DO!

It is stunning. I think its a great size palette in that its compact, and easy to hold, but it contains a lot of shadow. It doesn't waste space on empty packaging if that makes sense.

There are only two matte shades here, so if you're not into shimmer then this might not be the one for you. But I LOVE shimmer and I love the rich deep shades. The true burgundy and the plummy colour are to die for and the other rich jewel neutrals are just stunning.

There's hint charts on the back of the palette for inspiration on what shades to blend, which I loved. And I did try some of them, and plan to try more. It's always good to mix it up.

The palette brush is pants, but that's ok, who expects anything more from a palette brush?! I use my regular brush set. The fallout is minimum and the payoff it good.
