Maybelline Tattoo Gel Liner Pencil

I liked the smoothness of application of this Maybelline gel liner pencil. It delivered a smooth line that lasted over a few days (thanks to lockdown I didn't wash it off just to see how long it would last.) It didn't smudge either. You are able to control how thick you put it on for all occassions.

I have been using Maybelline Tattoo Gel Liner Pencil for more than a week now, and I am very impressed on how long lasting and waterproof of Maybelline Tattoo Gel Liner Pencil is. I have tried many waterproof eyeliners, but so far this one is the best one. It spread easily when you apply and last a whole day long. Perfect for busy people.

I’m so stoked I found a new favourite! This liner is fantastic, although it doesn’t give you the precision of a gel liner it is more amazing as it doesn’t smudge and gives you more of a kohol look, it didn’t move and it lasted all day and even the next morninh! I applied to the top lid and waterline, my eyelids are oily and it didn’t smudge at all. I even did an onion cutting test and it lasted through the tears. I’d recommend this to everyone and even going to purchase for my mother who also has oily eyelids.

Really have been enjoying this eye liner. It has great pigment - you don't have to scratch your skin to apply. It glides on swiftly and stays put all day. Came off easily using a balm cleanser at the end of the day when I finally wanted to remove. Colour was perfect, the best midnight black and applied to both the top and bottom of the eye. Didn't smudge around my eyes throughout the day, which was perfect. Not sure how to sharpen the pencil given the casing is plastic and not wooden....kind of odd. Probably the only downside.

It’s so easy to use, glides so easily as it’s so smooth, yet it doesn’t smudge. I had to work really quick to smudge it out a bit with an eyeshadow as I like the look better on me, plus I have shaky hands, so the lines are never perfect. It lasted the whole day today, but to be fair I haven’t done much, so will definitely update once we’re back at work as I need my makeup to last since I never correct or reapply throughout the day. It looks so black and feels and looks very gel-like, this could be used for winged eyeliner, I could do a really thin line with it, I just wish my hands would be more steady to try!

I was excited to trial the new Maybelline Tattoo Gel Liner pencil as Maybelline is known for producing great quality, budget friendly cosmetics.

I received this eyeliner in the shade black. The pencil is very gentle and you don't need to apply pressure as it glides easily across the base of the eyelid without pulling and dragging the skin. I also used this eyeliner on my waterline, to see whether it lived up to its waterproof and smudge resistant claims. It wore really well and the rich colour looked the same at the end of the workday as it had after applying it early in the morning.

This Maybelline Tattoo Gel Liner pencil will now replace my more expensive brand, as it does live up to its claims and is a great product.

This eyeliner just glides, it's very smooth and relatively easy to get the feel of quite quickly. Keep some makeup remover wipes, or micellar-saturated pads handy, you'll need to be quick to remove it without smudging if you do make a boo boo.

This is quite possibly the best eyeliner I've used, it's all of the pros of a liquid liner in a pencil form.

It does remove with an oil cleanser or eye-makeup remover, so don't worry you won't be rocking panda eyes post-shower.

I usually use a liquid liner, so this was a fun trial.

Pros: - The packaging is what you'd expect, but the lid is strong and stays on, great for in the makeup bag. - The pencil can be sharpened - The pencil is not bitty or chalky, nor does it feel dry. - It's easy to do a basic flick, or a full wing. - It reallllllllllly lasts - you could sleep in this and wake up with the perfect cat's eye.

Cons: - REALLY hard to remove. You either need a good waterproof-makeup remover, or settling in for a good amount of cleansing and re-cleansing. - Does not come with a built-in sharpener in the lid. This should be mandatory on all eye pencils!

I have a problem with eyeliners never lasting, no matter whether I use them on my waterline, or my upper lash line. I used this and was hoping that it didn't do what every other eyeliner has done in the past. I was pleasantly surprised with this! It actually lasts! And I accidentally rubbed my eyes a few times without meaning to, but that didn't seem to matter! I'll be buying backups of this eyeliner when I get low and they're on special! Definitely recommend.

I'm a liquid liner person, have been for years and have settled on Morphe as being my favourite. I didnt pay a huge amount of attention to the trial details and somehow assumed it was a liquid so when I opened it I was like "oh bother" but gave it a whirl. Surprise surprise this actually works well! I'm able to get a nice (actually black rather than grey) line, its soft enough I don't need a heap of pressure to get it to transfer to my lid (a problem I've had with other pencils) and is pretty forgiving when I've accidentally gotten overzealous and ended up smudging or getting the line wrong. The lid stays on well and I haven't sharpened it yet but I have a fair idea of how it will go. It goes on smooth, stays on well and doesn't give me panda eyes or smudge/transfer to my upper lid. Definitely recommend and will keep using this!
