Australis 10 Hour Eye Pencil A pencil that acts like a liquid liner without the liquid part. It is easy to blend shortly after application and has excellent, even colour payoff. Oh. And it's waterproof!
It glides on effortlessly in one easy stroke, is longer lasting than any other pencil, applies like a liquid liner and won't budge all day!
Not a favourite product of mine. I felt like it only lasted a couple of hours tops. After a few hours it had faded, and unfortunately smudged a bit on the eyelid.
Price is decent, and I wasn't expecting great things for that price, so I gave it a 3/5 based on that. If it was pricier it would have scored lower.
I got this as a freebie with something a little while back. I haven't found Australis eye pencils that great before so I wasn't expecting a lot out of this pencil, but I was hoping that it would last the 10 hours promised.
Whne applying it was like using most eye pencils, didn't glide, but wasn't rough. The pigmentation was great which to me is really important in an eye pencil and so far this pencil was doing well.
After a little while the pencil smudged. After an hour or so the pencil also began to fade and by the time 10 hours were up this pencil's line was gone. It was also not waterproof, in fact it pretty much slide off whether you were in the pool or just washing your face.
So all in all an average pencil at a slightly above average price. I wouldn't buy another one personally.
I purchased this from a pharmacy when I had a voucher due to expire so it only cost a few extra dollars... luckily for me for as it turned out as soon as I used it my eyes started to fog over and feel irritated almost immediately. It doesn't stay put on my waterline and I can only use it as a outer eye pencil/base for other colours to brighten them and as a lip base pencil. I have been using another brand previously that was all natural and ophthalmologist approved... this however isn't any of those and taught me a lesson about impulse buying. As I mentioned though that this was not as expensive as normal and even at full price is around half of what I would usually pay for an eye pencil.
The colour itself is a crisp white and it is a solid colour unless smudged out. It is soft and applies very easily... depending on how and where used it will last longer but not as long as it claims regardless (for me anyway). The pencil is smaller than the ones I normally use too by about a third.
