Maybelline Tattoo Brow Pomade Pot Reviews

I have never liked a brow pomade before as they all made my eyebrows look super fake and way too dark, even though my natural eyebrow colour is black. I got this in dark brown and I filled in some holes in my eyebrows using the brush that it came with, when brushing it in it just blended the colour in so beautifully and it didn’t look unnatural or made up at all, just pretty, filled in eyebrows. It definitely gave my makeup look a more defined and put together look and I liked that a lot! The brush it comes with is pretty amazing too by the way. It’s very pigmented, I only needed to just dab the brush on top and it was enough for an eyebrow, a little goes a long way, so it will last ages, I can’t believe there’s an eyebrow pomade I like, I’m used to using powder and a colourless wax on top, but this cuts the time in half for me, definitely very handy.

The packaging for this product says it is waterproof, it comes with a double ended applicator and the pottle of colour in the box. I trialled 03 Medium Brown colour. The product has no smell, which I instantly liked, and the applicator is soft both at the mascara wand type end and at the applicator brush end. I loved this product from the very first try, it's so smooth to apply and doesn't instantly dry, meaning if you make a mistake you can correct it. My brows lasted all day and night. The first night I cleansed my face of all my makeup except my brows, just to see if it would last through a few hours of sleep. Waking up in the morning I still had brows!! As this colour is probably one shade too dark for me, I only applied it sparingly. The pottle holds a huge amount of product when you're only needing to just dab the applicator brush on top and you have enough colour on there to do a whole brow. The product goes on so smoothly and the applicator is easy to use to ensure a perfect result each time. Using the mascara wand end of the applicator to tame your brows before applying the product, and then again lightly afterwards to create a natural look is definitely the way to go. I have previously used brow pencils, shadows and mascaras, but this product is hands down my favourite of all, and I will continue to purchase this once I have finally gotten through the pottle I have.

I really like this product! A little goes a long way, it's super creamy. I can imagine that this will last me quite a long time as it hardly looks like i have touched it! The brush that came with it is also really good! it has a normal brush end then a spooly end. It is easy to apply and stays in place all day. Id defiantly think about buying this once it runs out!

I have very fair hair and very thin eyebrows. I was very close to tattooing on my eyebrows but now I’ve tried this product I definitely don’t need to! The gel goes on easily with the provided brush. It does not smudge or wear off during the day. You only need to use the tiniest bit so it will last for ages. Washes off easily with Micellular water or a regular facewash. Looks completely natural.

This is a brow product I have never used so it was an intersting trial for me. I did read how to apply, always good to know before you jump in. I chose not to outline and went straight to filling in my brows.

Opps, they should have said do not use too much! It was quite a frightening event looking at my first attempt.

After removing my first try, I went in a little lighter with my application and the result was a bit more pleasing. After applying with the brush I went over my brows with the spooly and ended up with a great result.

I checked my brows often in the mirror during the day and was happy with the result all day long. It came off with the rest of my make up easily.

I find the more I use this the more I like it and I feel it will last a good long while.

I was excited to be sent this brow pomade to trial, I received the taupe which is lovely on my blonde hair. Consistency: It is a thick and creamy consistency that comes in a pot. Thick altho soft so you dont need to dip your brush in alot. Application: I love that this comes with a brush which is slanted on one end and a spooli on the other end. A little goes a long way! Fragrance: Virtually no smell at all, very pleasant. Coverage: very pigmented, dont need to keep adding produxt to the same spot. Longevity: Would be perfect for hot locations, balmy evenings, gym sessions, lasts all day long as claimed. Usage: After one week it is still going strong. Alot of product for the small pot. Price: At roughly $24.99 this is on par if not cheaper with many other brow pomades, certainly better than my kylie cosmetics brow pomade. Atho I have only used this for 1 week, I am looking forward to seeing how long this lasts for before drying out. Packaging: Nice box and screw lid glass container with good instructions and pics, wand is sleek black and screw lid. Results: This seriously stays all day long! I work in an office under air con, and fell i would be fine going swimming after my brows would smudge in the outer corner but this is amazing, no budge. Recommendation: I would highly recommend this pomade, great taupe brown.

This is just a dream to use and would be great for a beginner. I have an angled eyebrow brush at home which allows ease of application. I'd say this was the only element missing from the product itself.

However the dark brown was perfect for me as I like my eyes to stand out. The application was smooth and delicate , the products great as once again it allows for both natural and more dramatic brows.

Theres no unpleasent smells to the product and the pottle itself is HUGE so great value for money.

The product was smudgeproof and lasted all day. Easy to remove as well. Overall an absolute banger of a product!

This is definitely one of the better Maybelline eyebrow products I have used and my favourite of the 5 product that I trialled.   I received the shade 05, dark brown which is a really good match for my eyebrows which aren't black but are still very dark. As I don't completely fill in my brows I mainly used eyebrow products to full in gaps and to extend out my brows. So I like having a colour that matches.

The jar is a descent size and because it's so pigmented it will last years. I find the inside of the jar lid a great place to wipe away excess product from the brush. The brush/spoolie is small but descent. The angled end is flexible but still firm enough for me to precisely draw in hairlike strokes. The formula is creamy and blendable so I would definitely use a clear blow gel to set in place. The product dries to a matte finish but suprisenly wasn't too diffult to remove with normal cleanser.

This is a good dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow promade which is my go to brow product but is cheaper and has a brush. Shade selection is more limited so make sure to swatch.

I have used a brow pencil for years and only dabbled with pomade which I always found quite messy, I did not think I would like this product at all but from the very first application I fell in love. The pomade is a rich brown and is perfect for my brows. The formula has glide when applying, it's so smooth it's so much easier than others I have tried. Bonus it comes with a brush /spoolie combo which is adequate however I found the brush to be quite short so it made a mess of my hand when I turn it over. It was easy to outline my brows and blend in with the spoolie to give the air brushed powder brows look, was very easy to fade out on the inside edge yet also keep a sharp tail. I have already recommended this to friends, there is serious value for money here, it will last a very long time. My brows stayed in place through workouts which I was very impressed with, once it's on- it's on until you decide to take it off. Love this brow pomade and will use daily!
