Australis Eye Brow Pencil Review

Over the years I've tried heaps of brow kits and pomades but I always go back to this pencil! Its so easy to use you really cant go wrong and it lasts well even in humid and hot temperatures.

The pencil has quite a creamy texture which is perfect for natural brows, but give it a sharpen first and its easy to do a more bold brow or sharp arch.

Not to mention the pencil lasts aaaages also! Such a bargain.

I went into my local Farmers store and was recommended this eyebrow pencil by one of the makeup staff members who told me that the dark brown pencil would be best, therefore I brought it. This pencil was the first that I had brought so I was in no means an expert when I came to having perfect eyebrows. I found this pencil very easy to use, the brush is very useful. I have only applied this pencil on dry and I find if applying it wet means that colour is too dark and doesn’t give that professional look. I would describe my eyebrow colour as light black, so for me I only use this pencil to fill in my eyebrows and not define them. I will be repurchasing this pencil in black!

This brow pencil was the first brow product i ever product, and I love it, it goes on so easily, I have the black pencil and it works great, easy to use for a beginner and it doesnt smudge. So really loved it.

This is my go-to eye brow pencil, It goes on easy and doesn't smudge. I use the dark brown as I like dark brows and have brown hair. I find the small eyebrow brush that comes with the lid is perfect for blending and find when wearing this product I get a lot of compliments on my eye brows. It has no scent and is very reasonable priced. :)

This product is really good if you don't want to spend a lot of time grooming your eyebrows. As a bonus they look really natural. The only problem I have is that you need to keep sharpening it but overall it's a great product and I will continue to purchase.

One of my go-to eyebrow pencils! It's super easy to use, really affordable and makes your eyebrows look great - even on parts of your eyebrow where there's no hair. It's easy to take off when you make a mistake, but it also lasts on my brows all day - even without putting anything else on them!

The first pencil I bought was in the shade dark brown. It was slightly too dark for my taste so I purchased the shade light brown. That was too light for me. There were no in-between shades, but I found when using both pencils together they work for me. I use the darker pencil for the outline and the lighter pencil for filling my brows in and blending the colours together.

The lid of the pencil comes with a brush on the side. I found the brush frayed really fast, even though I hardly used it and using a spoolie worked a lot better for brushing my brows before applying product, and also for blending.

I definitely recommend this pencil. It's cheap and excellent to use with other products, or just by itself!

I first brought this in light brown/blonde colour as my first ever eye pencil, I soon returned to purchase in dark brown as the light brown was too yellow for my skin tone - would suit super fair people more.

I find the formula glides on really well and using gentle small strokes to build up depth and it defiantly reflects that of real hair.

I have been getting more game at drawing my brows on bigger/thicker and with more shape since I have had this pencil and I like the way it sits on my skin where there is no hair. (My natural eyebrows are SO small). It is fairly easy to remove if you make a mistake, I suggest to start soft and then slowly build up coverage. The product lasts on my skin all day and is easy to remove at the end of the day.

The pencil sharpens easy and I haven't found the pencil to be getting used up really fast, I've been using this daily and its lasting really well.

The only downside for me is that the brush on the lid - although a great idea - it is to hard for my brows so I instead use a softer spoolie to first groom my brows before I apply and then also after to help blend the colour. The last few weeks I have had some great comments on my brows and I have this pencil to thank for that, plus myself for having a bit more confidence to wear my brows more bold!

I got this pencil as a free gift for spending over $25 on australis products. I'm a bit of a sucker for free products but I was planning on buying products from them Anyway!

First impressions of the pencil, are that it's just a basic pencil. It's nothing fancy at all but it's reasonably clear that it's from australis and is a brown eyebrow pencil. On the cap is a little brush. I personally don't like these brushes at all. Spoolies do a way better job of brushing brow hairs than this brush.

One of my pet peeves with brown pencils, is for it to be labeled dark brown but it's actually Auburn. This pencil is a very warm, almost red color. Naturally, my hair actually is Auburn but my eyebrows are a very cool toned brown. I feel like cool toned is way more flattering on me. I have been using the dark loreal brow plumper to help darken my brows once i use this to make it more wearable for me.

The formula is good though, it's easy to build up depth of color and it's not too dry or too creamy. I do use gel as well, but i have no issues with this smudging or fading away. My brows are still firmly in place at the end of the day. This i a pencil you need to sharpen but you don't need to use too much so don't have to sharpen it very often.

I'm not planning to use this one again, but I think I would pick up the black version if they make that color, I'm into dying my hair black at the moment. If you have red hair or very warm brown, I think this pencil would be a good color match for you.

This eyebrow pencil was quite good with reasonable price. The texture is creamy and also it easy to blend. I love this product so much.

This is my first ever brow pencil and I was a bit dubious at first. However I was surprised with how easy it is to use and how good it is at creating anywhere from bold brows to something a little more natural. It's creamy and easy to apply and also easy to brush through to distribute the colour evenly. Definitely a pleasant surprise and love the small price tag attached to it!
