No Brow.

Whilst Anastasia Beverly Hills has some wonderful products, the Brow Whiz is not one of them. I picked this up as a product to lightly fill in my brows and give a small amount of definition. I wasn't asking for a lot, but this product doesn't do a thing.

The packaging is very lightweight and plastic, and I can imagine it breaking easily. The pencil is a wind-up, which is great as this means it does not need to be sharpened. I purchased the colour taupe as this seemed the best match for my blonde hair and slightly darker brows. Feeling a little intimidated by a pencil (I was previously using a powder) I pressed lightly onto my brow and begun small strokes. There was nothing. Not a thing. I pressed harder, and harder still and the product just would not dispense onto the brow. I checked for a plastic film, and I pressed hard onto my hand. Although it is the right shade for my brows, there is a huge lack of pigmentation in this product. Even if I pressed hard to get some colour from the pencil, I would be unable to complete short, natural strokes to avoid block shading.

I was very disappointed in this product and certainly prefer the E.L.F brow kit or Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow.

Tips: The Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow is a great product to look into.

So strange, maybe you can change the colour to find one that suits you better? I loved this product, but I do agree that ELF do a great brow kit too!

That's so weird that it had no pigmentation for you! I have this in dark brown and it is perfect - I wonder if the lighter shades are less pigmented?

Wow... I had high hopes for this! I was considering buying it in Taupe too!! It's sometimes tricky finding brow products that are light enough for blondes but still have decent pigmentation.

Yes, its worth the hype

The anastasia Brow wiz pencil, no doubt you have heard about it, wether you like doing your eye brows or not, this seemed to be a product that everyone talked about or recommended. And since its release, i feel like many other companies have made similar product, but seeing as this was the first product like this, i do consider this brand to be innovative.

This eyebrow pencil comes in a range of different colours, so that even those with the lightest to the darkest eyebrows should be able to find a match. I have black hair, so black eyebrows and i chose ebony i believe for my colour, which is a great match.

The packaging of this product is so classy. It features a slim plastic circular casing which is black in color, and features the brand and words in a bronze colour. Really classy. One end of the packaging features a sturdy spoolie, and the other end feature the product. Both the spoolie end, and the product end has a lid so both ends are kept clean and secure. Another benefit of this packaging is the pencil is retractable, which means no sharpening and no wastage.

The pencil itself its really thin, and firm so you can create small subtle strokes, and control the pencil easily. Plus it blends out so naturally after using the spoolie.

As for price, i find this one of the most affordable brow products available, costing around $25 from beauty bay.com.

I really like using this pencil. I'm no pro at doing my eyebrows but this pencil makes it easy to create a good brow. Really recommend this product

My brow game is still new but this makes it easy

I have heard so many wonderful things about this brow whizz I was expecting some banging seriously strong brow game results, not what I expected in my head but still great results.

Design of this brow whizz is done with comfort in mind, the barrel of the pencil is slim enough to be able you to grip and hold it steady and comfortable so you can get the strokes just right. With a twist up pencil form of the product at one end and a bristle comb at the other, both of which have a black cap that clicks into place and stay which is awesome as some other brow pencils I have tried the cap never clicked into place and would end up falling off and becoming lost in the drawer. Formula wise this pencil isn't soft like some creamy brow liners but it also isn't rigid and stiff that it prevents you from getting that slight blur effect so the fill in isn't so obvious. I haven't used this with an specific brow setting gel but did coat with MAC Fix + and found that it stayed where I placed the product all day long, no smudging, no transferring, no thining out of product until I removed it easily with makeup remover wipes at the end of the day.

I used the colour Taupe as I have dark blonde hair naturally that I lighten so the Taupe acts as an ash blonde working well with fair skin, blue eyes and mousy blondes.

Smooth application

This product is easy to use, glides on and makes the application process so much accurate, I think this product would be great for people who have trouble applying eyebrow product on, seeing as the tip is thin. Added bonus with the brush on the other end it's a winning product

Tips: Start off light, the product is smooth do dont need to apply much pressure as some other products.

Brow wiz

I have been wanting to try any of the anastasia Beverly Hills eye brow products for ages! As they are not so easy to buy in NZ and not the cheapest, it toke me awhile to get around to it. I decided on the brow wiz because I though it would give the most natural look. I got the dark brown colour and found the match perfect for me (I've got a dark brown hair), the spooly is really helpful to brush the brow and the crayon glides on easily to the skin. I have found that it lasts the whole day and even through a gym workout. Overall super happy with this product and would buy again!

Holy Grail Brow Product.

Prior to using this, I wasn't a massive fan of brow pencils and was massively faithful to my ELF brow kit. I got this as a part of Sephora's Favorites Superstars kit and was a little skeptical about it just because I prefer to use a brush to fill in my brows.

The packaging on this is nice - it is a very thin wind up pencil with a spoolie at one end. It doesn't feel super sturdy but I have dropped it a few times and it hasn't broken (yet).

The pencil end is super, super fine and thin which suprised me when I first used it. However, upon using it daily - I really like this because it allows you to create a natural look as the strokes mimic hair.

I have the shade dark brown and it matches my brow colour perfectly. The pencil itself is quite hard and you need to use semi firm strokes to get the most of the pigmentation - if you use light strokes then the result is lighter. I like this because it means that I can fill in the front part of my brows without them looking super stark.

Even though I haven't used up my current brow wiz, I have already purchased this and will repurchase it again and again as it is the perfect product for me.

Love at first use

There is absolute good cause as to why this pencil is so highly raved about. I don't know why it's so much better than just normal pencils but it really is.

I bought this from Beautylish, ages ago actually. I had an ELF pencil that just kept going and going. I've been eagerly waiting to use this one so I wa very glad when I finally used up my other one.

The packaging is pretty standard for an eyebrow pencil. It is long and thin and has a cap on each end. One side is the spoolie and one side is the pencil. I love the spoolie, I kind of thought that a spoolie is a spoolie but this one easily brushes out your brow hairs plus blends out well too without feeling scratchy. I have the shade dark brown and it's a perfect shade match for me. Nice and dark but not too dark and a good cool tone. The pencil on this is retractable so you don't have to worry about sharpening and because the tip is so thin, it kind of stays in a point anyway. I find this easily fills in my brows and just keeps them looking so good. It must be some combination of a good formula and a thin tip that makes my brows look way better than usual. I really dont know but it works and I'm loving it. I find the colour lasts all day although I do set it with brow gel too.

I can't really think of anything bad about this. Maybe my tiniest gripe would be that I wish one of the caps was clear. I always end up opening the side that I don't want first. This is a bit more expensive also but I don't think it's totally unreasonable.

I'll definitely buy this again, I have the billion dollar pencil to use after this which I also enjoy but I think the Anastasia is the winner for me.

My go to.

This is my go to brow product for my full made up look. The product can be natural but defined. The tip is very precise, there is no need to sharpen and there is a spoolie attached. The colour is pigmented and stays in place. It is not as dramatic as dip brow, but it is the way I like it. It is also easy to apply.

Tips: Don't put the wrong lid on the wrong end, the spoolie is a lot shorter than the product so you can waste product inside the lid.

Easiest brows in minutes

I was quite skeptical at the price of the Anastasia Beverly hills brow whiz, so much that I didn't purchase one until 3 months ago, I could not bring myself to spend $38 on an eyebrow pencil, but since then it has been life changing.

My eyebrows are scarce, since shaving them repeatedly in my high school years they have never grown back to their old bushy selves and I've had to resort to filling them in with various pomades, eye brow pencils and powders. With this in mind (all the spaces I need to fill in) and the inner perfectionist, drawing my eyebrows on ranges between 10 minutes(a very good day) to 30 minutes(bad eyebrow days).

The first hurdle was finding the right shade, there are so many! I decided Ebony was the best color and hoped it would match my remaining eyebrow hairs, which it did. The eyebrow pencil is double sided, one side has a spoolie (dry mascara wand) and the other side has a wind up pencil, it is tiny. This tiny pencil mimics hairs and fills in the tiniest gaps to absolute perfection. After filling in my eyebrows I use the spoolie to brush through the product and blend out the front of my eyebrows. The first few times I was amazed at how simple but effective this pencil was, it takes less than 5 minutes each day to do my eyebrows and it is such a relief!

It has been one of those products that I wished I had purchased earlier, I have given the pomade a rest since purchasing the brow whiz and my eyebrows look a lot more natural, I have already repurchased a back up pencil.

Perfect, perfect, perfect.

I love this brow pencil. I have the shade medium ash and I just keep repurchasing it. It's the perfect cool tone for my hair! I love the small, fine tip for precision work. I love how it's retractable (no sharpening required) and how it has a super fine brush on the end for combing the brows. This product is great!

Tips: Use a brow gel to set your hairs down as this wont tame those babies.
