Easy to use, hard to get wrong

I love this powder, it’s actually the first one I will probably use until the palette is empty. I’ve tried a few contours, most of which I have given away after about a week. This one comes with a brush hidden underneath, which I didn’t find until the second week, but it’s actually a decent brush for using the contour, gives a nice neat line so I opt to use that one over my set. It’s easy to blend into my foundation, and builds nicely, the pack even has some good detail on where to apply. The highlighter is one of the better versions I’ve found, it actually shows on your skin without having to go overboard, and has just a subtle luminescent in it, so it doesn’t give the “let loose with a glitter tub” appearance that I found with some other brands. My only gripe is my highlighter has done that funny pressed powder rock hard scratchy thing that you sometimes get in them, so half of the highlighter side it forevermore no use (unless someone can tell me how to fix that?), but I would say that’s just my palette. I will definitely look to buy this one again

Tips: Use the brush that comes with it for good neat lines

Maybelline master sculpt

I have never really been that great at contouring so when I saw this product I thought it'd be a good starter for me! It worked really well and has helped me work on my technique, and now I wear it almost everyday. The colour is a good shade for me, and I love the highlighter. It comes with a great highlighting brush too which is handy and the whole compact is small enough to put in my makeup bag. I'll definitely keep at this product and keep improving my technique.

Not muddy

if you get this in light you will find its awesome a pale skin tones, it does not make you look muddy and is super easy to blend. i don't really use the highlighting shades as it's a wee bit translucent for my liking, but overall its a great product with a great price.

Master Sculpt in light

I have been looking everywhere for a product suited to contouring my ultra fair skin. Getting my hands on Nyx Taupe blush seemed to be impossible and the much recommended Hoola was ok as a bronzer but a bit muddy/dark as a contour on my skin. This is not very pigmented at all but I like that you can build up your intensity slowly without any problems with harsh lines. This blends really easily and doesn't grab on to dry/tacky parts of my skin. I'm not one to go full Kardashian with my contour but my potato face definitely benefits from some subtle shape. I love the contour shade on my crease also. The highlight portion of this is ok- would be a good beginners highlight, not too shimmery or in your face.

If you are after a product that will give you some soft definition and is super easy to apply (and a great price to boot) then this is your guy.

Good for beginners

I followed much of the advice online and bought the darker shade even though I am almost transparent. The highlight shade is nothing special but the contour powder is divine. Its not overly pigmented so it's easy to build up the colour without over doing it and it blends surprisingly well for a 'drugstore' powder. The dark shade is very similar to my milk chocolate soleil bronzer by too faced but applies more sheer. This hasn't been able to replace my all time fav contour powder (nyx blush in taupe) but it's a really good alternative on days when i want a softer look.

Tips: Go for the darker shade regardless of skin colour. The darker contour shade is more cool toned and is better for mimicking shadows. The lighter colour is warmer and can look a tad muddy.
