Colgate Optic White Toothpaste review

Doesn't really make your teeth any whiter. It tastes kind of gross to. I will be sticking to the normal toothpaste.

I was really excited to use this toothpaste. But have to be honest i felt a bit let down. When you consider the price compared to other toothpastes and the fact that it didn't noticeably whiten my teeth.

The taste is a little un usual, but i kind of like it. It kind of has a hot mint/ baking soda taste. It did leave my mouth feeling fresh and clean.

But was very disapointed my the results. after finishing the whole tube i can't say i really noticed much difference certainly not 3 shades. I really do love Colgate toothpastes. But think i prefer the original Colgate total .

As a heads up, I contacted Colgate regarding my issues with the product and sent it back and received some vouchers to make up for it;

This toothpaste is horrible to deal with. I like to switch between two different toothpastes, especially when it comes to the ones with a higher amount of the whitening ingredient in them.

Bad idea; This toothpaste hardened in the tube and I could not get it out because it hadn't just hardened near the opening - it was like the whole middle of the tube had hardened and I had to squeeze and manipulate the tube in order to move that hard core out of the way and pop a pin or other object in there to dislodge it from the opening.

Nice toothpaste otherwise, not sure about the whitening side of it as I gave up on the toothpaste after having to unclog it a couple of times.

It may have been a faulty batch though so I /might/ try it again..

I found this product horrible to use. I had recently gotten engaged and thought for the engagement party i'd try to look as amazing as possible. Firstly, the tooth paste is so hard to get out of the tube. I didn't end up using the whole tube, because it was disgusting, and it did nothing... Save your money and do it the professional way.

After seeing the ads on tv for this product I HAD to try it, especially with my wedding coming up. It made my teeth feel very fresh and clean but didn't really live up to what it promised about whitening. A good toothpaste but not so good for whitening and pretty exspensive

I'm always looking for things to make my teeth whiter and unfortunately this toothpaste wasn't so good. I liked the taste and the way it made my teeth feel super clean but as for the whitening aspect… didn't live up to the hype. I will repurchase for the fact that I love the taste but not because of the whitening affect.

This is okay. Just okay. It's a good toothpaste but I don't think it lives up to the claims. Although, I did notice a small change it was very small and the flavour was a bit too strong for me and once I stopped using it my teeth didn't remain 'white'. Don't get me wrong though, it is a good toothpaste, feels fresh and clean and you will see a little change but if you're wanting to totally whiten your teeth your best to go with a teeth whitening kit. All in all, it's a good toothpaste, and an okay whitener as long as you use it religiously and the tube lasts a long time.

I liked this toothpaste and I do feel it whitened my teeth. I like the way it felt (texture was nice)and the taste was pleasant. I feel like it cleaned ,my teeth very thoroughly as well as whitening them.

I had heard that this toothpaste didn't really do what it said it would, but after using it for about a month I have noticed that my teeth are a lot whiter! Especially in photos they are looking much whiter.

This toothpaste is quite a bit more expensive than others (for a smaller tube, too!), but when I saw it on special at the supermarket, I thought I'd try it out anyway.

The taste is quite nice - it's a lot mintier than my regular toothpaste, and I felt as though it really cleaned my teeth. I'm not sure about a whitening effect though - I used it for a month, and there wasn't really a noticeable difference.
