Colgate Optic White Toothpaste review

Due to having rather stained teeth I thought I'd give this toothpaste a go after seeing many appealing adverts. I really liked the packing, it comes in a nice shiny red tube. The tooth paste itself is plain white with a fresh minty flavor with a different texture to normal tooth paste which I liked. My teeth always felt clean and fresh after using it however after using the whole tube I did not notice my teeth to be any whiter and the stains were still present. I think this product is overrated and that there way better toothpastes that remove stains for a fraction of the cost of this one.

With raving adverts and a special on at the supermarket (quite a pricey toothpaste) I just had to give it a go! The packaging of this toothpaste is very fancy, both box and tube. The consistency is more grainy than any other toothpaste and isn't as minty as what I would regularly use. After the first tube I didn't noticed any differences in the shade of my teeth. From my experience alone, I wouldn't highly recommend this product. If I were to use this product again, I would maybe use it for at least three months (about 3 tubes) in order to see any possible results.

I bought a tube of this oh-so-expensive toothpaste expecting results (as you do when you purchase a product that is twice the price as the normal alternatives). I like that it's in a sleek red tube and that it stands on its end. However in terms of whitening nothing really happened.

Slightly higher priced option on the supermarket shelf and a skeptic at best, I purchased Optic white to see if it could achieve great results. On first use my gums were extremely tingly I normally gave sensitive teeth and gums, on second use the tingly was unbearable. Sadly I did not see and changes or willing to preserve through the intense tingly in my gums... guess the dentist option is for me.

I have been using this product religiously for the past 3-4 months and can honestly say my teeth are not 3 shades whiter! I thought perhaps I needed to give it a bit longer than the 4 weeks that is promised on the box, but am giving up! I'm going to try a different brand. Do not recommend.

As a tea drinker myself it is super hard to find any whitening toothpastes that work! I have also found that this toothpaste upsets the balance of bacteria in my mouth and caused all sorts of nasties. It whitened my teeth slightly but I didn't get any comments about my teeth being whiter. Also quite harsh on my teeth. Not for me unfortunately.

Large bottle so it lasts ages, easy to spot in store and a great price.

However the product itself isn’t that great I didn’t notice a huge difference in whitening. I wouldn’t use it again as it hasn’t done what it said.

It brought on sensitivity which I've never had before!! Didn't notice any change since I wasn't going to let it make my sensitivity worse :( was such a fail

I tried this toothpaste, it did not whitening my teeth by three shades all, did I not notice a difference at all really. Only good thing was that it does leave your mouth feeling fresh. Probably wouldn't use it again.

I got very excited when i first saw this on the TV! But i have to say it did nothing. The texture was thick and the smell wasn't overly fresh. I didn't notice my teeth were any whiter over the 4 weeks of using it. My opinion, give this one a miss...
