Colgate Optic White Toothpaste review

A lot of things seem to good to be true so seeing that this would take a month to show results seemed a little believable. Nothing happened. Maybe one shade whiter but normal toothpaste does that too for around half the price or less. Its the consistency of a normal toothpaste, thick, brushes into your teeth easily, foams up like others but it didn't taste like a toothpaste should. Don't get me wrong it wasn't anything bad or maybe its the fact its not minty but the aftertaste was a little off. Oddly enough, brushing day and night, this product lasted me exactly a month. But for $10 i wasn't buying another one. Its just not worth the money. I wanted to see pearly white teeth at the end of a month but instead i saw the same teeth i started with. I love my fruit, my meats, my veges so i still dont understand how this toothpaste didnt work any more than just one shade but its a little bit of false advertising i think. I get everyone will have different outcomes but it seems as though no one is getting anything good out of this. The packaging is adorable though. Bold red is always appealing. The toothpaste is always on display and the red just draws you in wanting to brush your teeth. And the lid is easy open, easy close, click. I just dont recommend this unless you're bored or like red things.

I found although this was a nice tooth paste it did not really make any difference to the colour of my teeth. I used the whole tube and didn't see any significant change in the shade of my teeth. My teeth did however feel very clean and it left a lovely minty taste in my mouth. I don't think I would use this again unless it was on special or heavily reduced in price. It basically had the same effect to me as a generic Colgate tooth paste would.

I liked the bright red packaging, then the sleek red tube aswell. I didn't mind the taste to much how ever after using it for a while I haven't noticed much difference in whitening which is a shame.

Given all the advertising I thought I'd give it ago. Part of me now wonders if they deliberately have the people's teeth whitened first rather that before and after photos.

Well you always have hope in claims for whiter teeth , but unfortunately this did not work for me at all , l even tried the very expensive latest one after l had used this one up, i did not look any different either, overall not happy with products. I am a wine drinker, coffee drinker , but only in small amounts Wish they worked, it would have been great My lips felt dry aswell after continued use , Hopefully new technology and new ideas for something that really works, will come soon

I had high hopes for this product. I used it as instructions and still after 3 weeks barely notice any difference. My teeth aren't overly stained but could be whiter so am disappointed in the results. It also irritated my gums so probably won't use again.

I got sensitive teeth from this toothpaste unfortunately. Due to this I wasn't able to use it enough to get results. I'm alternating it with other toothpaste at the moment just to get thru the tube. I don't usually suffer from sensitive teeth either :(

I have had yellow teeth for as long as I can remember & have been quite concious about them. I didn't notice a difference straight away, but then my partner mentioned that they looked whiter. He's quite observant at the best of times, but I didn't think teeth would be of them.

I actually like the taste, it doesn't leave a chemical taste in my mouth like some toothpastes do if you forget to rinse. My teeth have whitened 2 shades after 3 weeks & I'm hoping I'll get another shade lighter after continued use.

Price is good too, some products taste foul & cost 3x more then this with lesser results

I didn't notice much difference with this one, it was nice and gave me a fresh feeling mouth but didn't stand out from any other whitening toothpaste. Probably wouldn't use again as noticed more difference from a cheaper brand used before.

After seeing the ads, I was like wow! I must have this!..... so I bought it, it tastes the same as every other toothpaste and my teeth went 1 or 2 shades whiter then stopped.... nothing spectacular happened after that, really quite disappointed and thought it did just the same as other toothpastes on the market but more than triple the price :(

Doesn't really make your teeth any whiter. It tastes kind of gross to. I will be sticking to the normal toothpaste.
