Colgate Optic White Toothpaste review

My partner and I started using this toothpaste about a month ago. This toothpaste is thicker than others I have used, feels stronger and definitely tastes stronger. Leaves the cleanest freshest feeling in my mouth after brushing! would use it for this alone. now the whitening... we do think each others teeth have become whiter since starting. probably after two weeks. happy with this toothpaste better then any other! would recommend it

I just finished a tube of this. I believe it did do what it said it was going to do but a lot of people I knew who were also using it where expecting more from it. It says your teeth will get three shades whiter but depending on how yellow your teeth are that does mean you are going to get pearly whites, and thats why I think a lot of the people I know found it disappointing. I might repurchase this product again as it does make your teeth slightly white and ha a great taste, but it does come with quite a hefty price tag for a tooth paste.

I drink a fair bit of coffee and I have seen a slight improvement in the colour of my teeth but I think it would work better if I lay off the coffee! I would use it again, but it would be good to see more of an improvement.

I tried this toothpaste as my teeth have some staining due to coffee drinking. I did notice that it did take off some of the staining but not to the extent that it suggested. I would keep using but I don't think people need to wear their sunglasses when I smile.,

I loved the way it cleaned my mouth and made me feel refreshed. but unfortunately it didn't make a massive change to the colouring of my teeth. Maybe I need to commit to a long term treatment of it. Will give it another go.

I enjoy this product and use it to maintain my professionally whitened teeth.

Great bright red packaging and a nice big cap which makes it easy to open and shut and also stand in shower, bathroom or wherever you choose to keep your toothpaste.

The flavour is minty however you can slightly taste the Hydrogen Peroxide which may not be to some peoples taste.

This product does contain whitening ingredients that dentists use, Hydrogen Peroxide, however only 1% which is not much!! We recommend at least 10% Carbamide /Hydrogen Peroxide nightly for a few weeks to notice a difference in the shade of your teeth.

You may notice a slight difference in the colour of your teeth but I do not think this will make a dramatic difference. I find this helps to maintain the whiteness of my teeth which means I do not have to re-whiten as often.

This toothpaste may not suit people with sensitive teeth.

i bought this after a friend had used it and said that she loved it. For $9.95 i didnt mind buying it to give it a go, the paste is very thick and powdery, i didnt mind this as i felt i was getting a good clean, the taste was pleasant also. I used this for 2 1/2 months brushing at least 2 times a day, i did find my teeth to be a little whiter after the period i used it but not extremely. I would definitely use this toothpaste again mostly for the cleaning properties, with the whitening being an added bonus.

I used this toothpaste twice a day until the tube ran out - which worked out to be about 4 weeks. I definitely don't think it lightened my teeth the 4 shades that it claimed it could but my sister said she could definitely see a difference the next time she saw me so I believe it did make some difference. I also really loved the taste of the toothpaste, and the very slight grainy feel made my teeth feel so so clean, which I loved. This is not a product I would use all of the time, because of how much more expensive it is than regular toothpaste, but I will probably using it every 6 months or so to freshen my teeth up.

I use this toothpaste currently and have since it came out, it does make a difference but you really have to brush twice daily and for a good 4-6 weeks I did however stop using it for a few weeks and I feel my teeth started to look dis-coloured again. I like the taste and I will continue to use this product.

I have quite stained teeth so was excited and hopeful trying this toothpaste. I love the mild mint flavour and the slightly grainy baking soda type texture doesn't bother me. I have used this religiously for about 3 months now, and certainly have noticed a slight difference in the shade of my teeth. But unfortunately they are not 3 shades lighter. I really enjoy this toothpaste so purchase it when its on special.
