Colgate Optic White Toothpaste review

I bought this toothpaste expecting some results as I had previously used another brand of whitening toothpaste and found ithe results to be spectacular! However after having difficulty finding the one I used last time I settled for this one instead. I don't mind the taste of this toothpaste as it is quite refreshing because of how strong it is. So I've been using this toothpaste for about 8 weeks now and I haven't really seen a difference! Not to mention how pricey it is! The big thing that really stopped me using it was that I started getting small pimples all around my mouth and I am not a person who usually ever gets pimples/zits. However as soon as I stopped using the toothpaste I stopped getting them! I will definitely not go back to this toothpaste ever because of this! I recommend you try some other brands if you don't want to risk getting pimples!

I used this for a few months, and I'd like to say it worked wonders, but it didn't. Did it whiten my teeth at all? Marginally, but not noticeably. Not enough for me to pay extra for it anyway. Disappointed! Their commercials look so impressive :( One day I'll just treat myself with a professional teeth whitening treatment instead!

Really like this, it did take a few weeks longer to start to make a difference, however now I am nearing the end of the tube I can see my teeth have definitely whitened up, it is also doing a great job of removing stubborn stains that are between my teeth, stains I didn't think it would move! I am confident they will be gone by the time I finish the tube, I will be buying another tube to use as a maintenance brush alongside my normal toothpaste to keep up the nice gleam,

I felt that this toothpaste gave my teeth a great clean, better than a lot of other toothpastes which I have used. I think that it does whiten my teeth a bit but not as much as they say it does. It's quite expensive but I think I will continue to buy it.

I've been trying to get whiter teeth for years now and still haven't found a solution. Tried this after seeing an ad at a bus stop but it's been almost one and a half months and still no difference. Worlds great as a normal toothpaste: fresh taste, nice minty breath after, feels cleansing. BUT... Where's the whitening? It perhaps prevented more yellowing/staining but the origional stains didn't whiten or disappear :/

I used two tubes of this toothpaste over a couple of months. I think it did help whiten my teeth a little bit, maybe 1 or 2 shades but nothing really spectacular.

The packaging is nice, I like the bold red and how it stands out from most of the other toothpastes. It is quite expensive though, around double the price of what I would usually spend. It tastes ok, not my favourite, I do like strong toothpastes but I like a more minty aftertaste and this didn't quite do it for me.

I would never use this again though. After a week or two of using it, I was getting massive breakouts on my chin. They were huge and sore and nothing I was doing was working. At the time I thought it was my skincare because I like to use new products all the time but I couldn't pinpoint it to anything. I used this toothpaste for 2 monthsish and a week after I started using another toothpaste, my skin had cleared up. I thought it was a co-incidence until I read that a lot of other people have this problem too. For that reason, I would never use this toothpaste again. The awful acne was so not worth the small amount of whitening that I got from this product. there are way more whitening products out there that don't break me out so I'd rather use those. Actually even if this didn't break me out, it's probably not one I would gravitate towards either. It is very expensive and the tube is on the small side as well so doesn't last too long.

I bought this toothpaste because I was hoping this would brighten and whiten my smile. I have been using this for several weeks and now the tube is almost finished. Unfortunately it didn't out perform any of the cheaper toothpastes in the whitening department, so I'm going to save my money and buy a cheaper toothpaste instead of this. Other than that it freshened my mouth and cleaned my teeth but so does regular more reasonably priced toothpaste.

Bought this on special (and unlikely to pay full price for it) as was quite costly compared with others on the market. Thought it was ok but unsure as to if there was a massive difference in my teeth. The taste was different to most toothpastes as was the texture. I liked both. However, I think if you are really looking for whiter teeth then seeing your dentists is probably best.
