Colgate Optic White Toothpaste review

I was hesitant to buy this as it was off a recommendation of a friend and at the price it was at, I wanted to make sure this worked. And it does!! I was so happy. Dont believe the hype that its going to give you shiny white teeth overnight, but it does happen. I'm still a little yellowish, but no where near where I used to be. Its this with regular flossing and mouthwash that really helps.

Note: This toothpaste has a heated effect for new people so don't freak out - you will get used to it.

I decided to purchase this toothpaste due to wanting to see if it really does whiten your teeth. I have quite white teeth already but I was keen to see if this product would make them look nicer and healthier. Firstly, the packaging is so classy for an Colgate product and I love how it is able to stand up. The taste of this product wasn't too unpleasant like I was expecting. I have found that my teeth haven't gone 3 shades whiter in 3 weeks but I have found that this toothpaste has made my teeth slightly whiter, they look healthier and nicer. I also find that this toothpaste for me is the best at brushing off anything. I will definitely repurchase this for an everyday toothpaste.

I received 2 of these in a sample box and thought awesome! I was disappointed with the taste, it was a very weak minty taste and felt it made no difference to my teeth. It felt like I hadn't cleaned my teeth after use and the minty feeling faded quicky. wouldn't purchase it again

I found the product had quite a strange taste, really strong and almost chemical flavour. I used it until the tube ran out but had to alternate it with other toothpaste as it was too much. I didn't really notice my teeth much whiter after using it. I don't think I would use this again, I'd try another brand of whitening toothpaste.

The results of this toothpaste weren't that great - I expected much brighter, whiter results. My teeth don't really seem much different at all?! It certainly makes them feel clean, which I like. But as for whiter - that is debatable! The taste is quite unpleasant, very bleachy, and doesnt give that nice minty freshness that normal toothpaste does. I also find it difficult to squeeze out of the tube. I wont be buying it again in a hurry!

I started using this product for a week with a normal tooth brush and noticed a bit of a difference. I then brought the tooth brush with the whitening pen that is recommended to use with this tooth paste and my teeth are 5 shades whiter. I am so impressed with the result as I've always been very embarrassed of my yellow tinted teeth in photos. This product has definitely given me more confidence and they now have a loyal customer

I have been using this for a few weeks now. I was looking forward to seeing how this works and I have not been blown away yet I am not disappointed. I do notice a difference with this toothpaste compared to others and it is gradually whitening my teeth. It does have a very stron minty flavour which put me off at first but I am used to it now. Overall, I am impressed with this as it is the mos effective whitening toothpaste I've used. I am wanting to try the toothbrush and whitening pen that goes with this to get the best results.

This toothpaste does not whiten my teeth at all but I absolutely love the strong refreshing minty taste it provides.

I love how it gives your mouth a warm tingly feeling when you brush with it - this is the reason I repurchase the toothpaste all the time.

I am sad that it doesn't whiten my teeth as it had so many amazing reviews on youtube. Maybe I'm the only one that it doesn't work on :(

Anyways I will continue to buy it as I love how fresh it makes my breath.

I used this for well over 4 week's and to be honest I personally did not notice a difference. I went to the extent of even taking before and after photo's, and there was very little change.

I didn't really like the texture of the toothpaste, To me It was kind of grainy and felt gross on my teeth.

The one positive I have with this toothpaste Is that the taste of the strong minty flavour was pleasantly refreshing. It did leave my mouth feeling clean though. I don't think It Is worth the price and will not purchase It again.

I'm still on the hunt for a goof whitening toothpaste.

At first I wasn't a big fan of this toothpaste at all. It is pretty expensive and even after 4 weeks of use my husband and I both thought there was no difference to the colour of our teeth. We did however keep using it, and another 3 weeks or so later we met someone we hadn't seen for a while and they immediately noticed our whiter teeth even though they had no idea that we had been trying to make them whiter. I guess if you look at your teeth every day you might miss the gradual change in colour that can be achieved with this toothpaste as the change is very slow. I would definitely use it again, the only downside is the price.
