Clean & Clear Advantage Fast Clearing Spot Gel Review

I tried this with the entire range of Clean and Clear Advantage products and this is the only one that worked for me, and in my opinion really lived up to it's claims.

It comes in quite a small tube, but as you only need to use a small amount it does last quite some time. The thing that I didn't like about the tube though was that I found I often ended up squeezing far too much gel out so a lot of product was wasted.

The gel itself does smell a tad chemically, but that's to be expected from something that has 2% salicylic acid and it's not too overpowering. The gel dries very quickly so I applied a small amount to spots after using the Clean & Clear toner and before moisturising so that my skin would get the full effect of it.

Although blemishes didn't vanish overnight, I did find this treatment was incredibly effective in treating my pimples over a few days. I think it's fantastic value for an acne treatment product at such a low price and would recommend this for anyone with acne-prone skin.

I used this as part of the whole kit (except for the toner).

This product is not intended to be used daily, it is for treating those annoying breakouts and help clear them away faster. I believe this product does exactly that.

It is a gel-based product that should be used sparingly. When I use it, I put a tiny dot onto my middle finger and then dab it onto any ugly pimples. I do it at night time before I go to bed after I have cleaned my face.

I find when I use this the pimples dry out and are gone in half the usual amount of time. It helps with those deep ugly pimples that never come to a head as it dries them out and kills the infection. Obviously it is not a miracle treatment, the pimples don't go away over night, but they definitely don't stick around on me as long as they do when I don't use the treatment.

The packaging is not so great, as it won't stand up. This means when you get half way through it's a bit of a mission to squeeze it out. I solve this problem by standing it up in a cup in my bathroom cabinet.

This spot gel was one of the first products I had used to try and help me with my skin problems. I purchased this in the pack with the toner and moisturizer etc and by itself. It really helped me when I would have big spots that were really sore and REALLY red. I found that after cleaning my face and going through the steps this helped dramatically. The spot would be reduced in size and colour the next day.

I actually bought this whole range in a kit for $20 last year as i was new to facial wash, etc. This is been the first spot treatment for acne that i used and i have found that its amazing. I have found that this really helped to reduce the redness on my nose and also elimanate my pores. This is also great for using on your trouble zones which for me is my chin and i found the results overnight were amazing. Will definitely purchase again.

I used to purchase the kit including the scrub, toner, moisturizer and spot gel. Such a fantastic system that works.

My favourite is the spot gel pen. I would always apply a small amount to little spots or big spots I can see forming before I go to bed and in the morning their no where to be seen!

Buy the kit that includes this for the best fullest and long lasting results everyone dreams of!

I truly live by this product. I used to have severe acne as a teen and I get the occasion break out here and there but this product has saved my life plenty of times!

This is an amazing product!!! It honestly does what it says! Very quick and gets straight to work when one of those annoying pimples pop up!! I found reapplying it 2-3 times a day was best. The tiny tip is perfect as this puts in directly onto the pimple. This product can be used on either red pimples that are forming or ones that may have annoyingly formed over night -at any stage!! It's truly amazing!! It doesn't dry your skin or leave any residue behind. It's awesome how quick this product starts working! Highly recommend it!! This product lasted me for ages!!

I am a lucky person that doesnt get alot of pimples but when I do they are not the smallest things. I love this product as I put it on at night time and in the morning I can see the difference. I use it for the next couple of days and then they go away within a week. I would reckon this product to anyone who is looking for something to work on primples. I do have to say that when the tube gets to the end it is hard to get the last little bit out. But well worth it

When I first bought this (mid last year) I did not really think or believe this would do much for me or my breakouts. I've tried so many of these "fast clearing" spot gels from different brands that I felt it really was a lost cause.

So, I washed my face, and pat it dry, popped a small dollop of the Clean & Clear advantage fast clearing spot gel on each of my spots, tied my hair up and fell asleep. The next morning, I was excited to see my face, jumped out of bed and went straight to the mirror - and lucky I did! The size had reduced DRAMATICALLY, the redness disappeared, and honestly, I could not have been happier! I used it for the next 3 nights - until it totally disappeared... yes they vanished. Whenever I feel a spot coming, I quickly use it before it becomes another mountain on my face, and I swear it works.

Ever since, I have probably been through 3 tubes! It is definitely my go to when I get a breakout, or think I'm about to get a breakout. I highly recommend this

I was put off by fast clearing spot gels a few years back when another company had one and was a little more expensive than this gel and did nothing, but having a pretty decent breakout and spotting this version on special as I shopped I caved and threw it into the trolley.

Design wise this is a very sleek tubed product that is in keeping with the rest of the Clean & Clear Advantage range in shades of grey and purple. The slim design means it is handy to toss into your handbag or keep on your bedside counter without taking up too much room, I did both of these as I was clearing up my outbreak.

The formula is a gloopy white creamy gel that has a sheer shimmer to it in the sunlight, but once applied to the area on your face that needs treating it rubs into nothing as it is fast absorbed into your skin. It works pretty fast too within a few hours I went from having a few very sore looking pimples to just some light bumps on the face that lost both size and painfulness. I kept using this treatment on and off for 48 hours and found that the pimples dried out and disappeared completely.

I now keep a tube on my vanity for any sudden outbreak to nip it in the butt there and then, also when I see it on special again I'm planning on getting another tube for in the handbag so I am fully prepared!!
