Refreshing but not unique

I really wanted to love this perfume however I found that it's an expensive version of Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea mixed with Calvin Klein CK. If you're not familiar with either one, the perfume smells like a refreshing blend of citrus and soapy musk.

My mum bought the 50ml EDT and passed it onto me when she had enough of it. Why this perfume has the word 'Noir' in it is beyond me, it's the exact opposite of black or dark which is what I think of when I see the word casually chucked into a perfume name. I recall it came in quite a bulky box and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't really that bulky, in fact it was stunning to look at.

I'm not a fan of Bulgari Pour Femme packaging which is a bulky wide rectangular shape but this one has more of an isosceles trapezium (maths came in handy!!). The green hue liquid reflects the refreshing scent inside and the gold white lid with the Bulgari embossed around the edges just adds a lovely touch to the visual.

My issue with this perfume is that when you spritz it; it gives off a very promising dose of refreshing citrus but it dries down to what anyone can mistake for Elizabeth Arden Green Tea mixed with a bit of soap. Now I love soap but for such beautiful packaging I was expecting something a bit more unique which I suppose is hard with having a bajillion perfumes out there but I didn't expect something I could buy for a fraction of the cost sigh.

For an EDT, this actually rivals EDPs with the longevity on my skin (8+ hours) but again it's Green Tea to anyone who can detect it. As gorgeous as this was sitting on my vanity, it's not something I would go out and buy, I'd probably recommend people to compare EA and Bulgari first before making a purchase.
