Batiste Dry Shampoo Review

I'm not a huge fan or dry shampoo as I dont like the feel of my hair with it in and would rather just deal with washing my hair than using a dry shampoo. BUT I have to say this is a good dry shampoo and it absorbed the oils in my hair and left it looking good. Although you could feel the dry shampoo in the hair, it wasn't too bad and as the day went on you could feel it less and less. I think I would use this again when I desperately need to, but otherwise I'm sticking to the normal shampoo

I like the idea of a dry shampoo but the fear if leaving powdery residue in my hair is not something I wish to happen. I have a flaky scalp anyway so to add fuel to the fire didn't exactly thrill me to my fingertips.

I have used the Pantene dry shampoo in the past which didn't do the general product of dry shampoo any favors! It left my hair powdery so what hope was there for this Batiste Dry Shampoo? I forged ahead despite my fears and was to be pleasantly surprised.

I have the small travel pack which is perfect for my going away makeup bag. I have the tropical scent one which smells amazing. I am not one to wash my hair often anyway because it's naturally ringlety so once a week I do a full shampoo and condition. On days when my hair needs a freshen up I use this. I spray it directly at the roots which gives a cooling blast of powdery substance. It feels instantly refreshing and has a just washed feeling.

I was standing by to see the powdery residue settle and create man-made dandruff but the longer I waited the better it felt. The powder never settled it just evaporated. I was ecstatic with joy at this because it meant that I could refresh whenever I felt the need between washing and wouldn't get the build up! I half expected to see a build up after using it 3 times in one week and to feel like my hair was dry and gritty but it never felt that way. If anything it felt better.

I am now a believer and from now on it is Batiste Dry Shampoo all the way. I am no longer scared of dry shampoo but I make sure that I stick to this brand only to avoid being rudely brought back to reality with a powder build up again. I am yet to see it and I have been using this for months now. Success!

Like many products, just because one brand is a bit meh, doesn't mean the next one won't be fabulous! And so it is with dry shampoo. Batiste dry shampoo does exactly what it says it will and works well. I have thick dark hair, so on the occasions that I don't want to wash it, this is perfect. A quick spray through, then a brush through and my hair is left manageable and looks great again.

The fragrance is pleasant and not too strong. A little seems to work well.

I like this, but the only problem is if you use it to long it does tend to cake a little and look like you have dandruff which is a little gross, but it is really good if I'm going out and have no time to get ready or if I don't wash my hair and just want my hair to look refreshed and not oily!

6 months ago I honestly wouldn't have known what you mean by spray-shampoo. I'd seen other dry shampoo block-thingys at Lush but had never even considered that there would be a spray product that could save me those 3/4 days of hating having oily hair. You can buy Batiste dry shampoo in 3 different sizes that I've seen (the largest of which is mammoth), I own 2. The smallest is a cute 50ml spray bottle which now lives in my handbag, and the other is the 20ml bottle shown above, and that one lives by my mirror.

Do you ever have days when you needed to wash your hair in the morning but instead you slept in thinking "I'll deal"? Or do you have that awkward second day after washing your hair where you're like "if I wash it I'll dry it out but by tonight it'll look greasy and gross"? Well this spray solves those problems!!

I find that Batiste is easy to use, and has amazing and quick results. Not only does it makes your hair look fresh, but it actually helps me with any messy-styling. So a big plus for the middle of the day if my hair is feeling flat and dull!

This has been a repeat purchase for me. One of those products I don't use all the time but is great for being there when I need it. I don't have oily hair but if I don't have time to wash it, then this is a great product to tide me over until I get home.

It does make my hair look less oily. It doesn't smell overpowering and it doesn't leave white residue throughout my hair like some other dry shampoo shave. I spray it on (usually just around where my hair looks oiliest) and rub it in a little to make sure I don't have white residue anywhere. And that's it. Sorted! I also use this to help give my fine hair a little volume when needed. It surprisingly helps!

Would I buy again? I already have and will continue to do so!

This is my holy grail dry shampoo, I don't use it that often but always make sure I have some around. It comes out in a fine aerosol, and doesn't really have a scent (I have the original one).

Often with my hair I think I have another day left before I wash it only to wake up and find my hair super oily. I spray this all over my roots and comb through using my fingers. This will save my hair for the day until I get a chance to wash it.

The only thing I don't like is sometimes it leaves a white residue on my hair, this is easily combed through. I think this happens when I hold the spray too close to my hairline, so just something to watch out for. But otherwise its a great product. I also love that they have the mini sizes which is perfect for your handbag

Pretty much lives up to the hype. The type of product that does what its supposed to do, and does it well. Doesn't leave residue unless I go to town with it.

I think this is probably the best dry shampoo on the market if I'm being honest. I've tried a few different brands but I find this one disperses the spray better and has better results.

Yes, it can leave white marks if you spray too close and aren't careful, but in general I am yet to find a better dry shampoo!

Batiste have a good range of products that vary in scent and purpose. So far I have found them to do what they say they will and they smell delightful! If you do find yourself with white marks, just brush them out or use your fingers and they'll disappear. This is a great product to use in between washes when your hair's getting a bit oily but you're not ready to wash it yet, a lazy girls dream!

I love this product. I hate washing my hair - and this is perfect. They have different sizes & fragrances to choose from which is which is so handy. The travel size is perfect for the gym bag. If you use too much product it brushes out easily and doesn't feel like there is a tonne of build up.
