Batiste Dry Shampoo Review

I'm a daily hair wash kind of girl, so was a bit wary of this product as I feel so gross if I don't give it a proper wash. I was camping/travelling so showers were limited! I quite like this product - it soaks up all the grease and oil in hair and lasts a pretty long time. It does make hair look dull, but I don't mind the matte look! I bought the original and the smell is so overpowering and heady. It is a pleasant smell, but just too strong. When I use it I feel like I smell so strong and makes me a bit paranoid, so not ideal if you're going to be in an enclosed space. Overall, good product, does what it says, but a bit overpowering, quite powdery (I'm blonde and it made me significantly blonder/lighter) and definitely would not replace a proper wash. Good camping product!

Initially I thought the product was amazing, (I had bastiste blush) but I found the volume and freshness disappeared very quickly and I had to keep reapplying. I wouldn't repurchase this brand as I feel something else would work better for me

I knew it was bad to wash your hair every single day so I was really excited to try out this particular product! I tend to suffer from oily hair anyway and overall, I am happy with what this product offers. However you tend to suffer from oily hair as well then you may also feel like this product doesn't keep you feeling fresh long enough - this is what I experienced not long after application! For this reason I feel rather neutral about this product...it does what it says but not for the duration I need it to.

All the scented Batiste dry shampoos smell really nice so brownie points for that! When i use this, there are instant effects like my hair feels less oily and lighter but after 2-3 hours my hair feels heavier and dirtier than before applying the dry shampoo. I feel like I would have been better off washing my hair instead

its ok. I got the dry shampoo with a hint of brunette colour in it. it dried my hair out a bi much but in saying that it gave it volume and grip which was nice. it had pleasant smell but the hint of colour rubbed of onto my clothes

Dry shampoo is a go-to product when I'm away and can't wash my hair as regularly or am looking for extra volume, this particular one takes a lot of effort to work into my dark brown hair as it is a lot more powdery than other brands I have used previously. It is a good price point, and my blonde friends swear by it, but I would personally opt for a slightly more expensive product developed for brunettes next time.

As I have black hair every time I use it, it turns my hair white - no matter at what distance or how well I shake it, my hair turns white. It does do its job however, so it should work with lighter hair.

makes my hair look like i have tons of dandruff, even after brushing thoroughly! makes your hair have lots of volume and clean not oily anymore, but i don't like the whole dandruff thing going on :(

My dry shampoo really flakes on me when i apply! It also leaves a bit of grey areas which no one wants to have!! I brought this for like 7 dollars and I think for how much product i got out of it, it really wasnt worth the hype!

i have used this product a few times now i got the little travel bottle when i went camping and it was a life saver and smelt so yummy (pink one) but it did leave my hair a little whiter as i have black hair you can tell and i had to brush out the white quiet vigourosly i tried holding it further and further away but it still seemed to leave white on my hair. so i thought id give it another shot when the limited addition cherry came out so i bought a big bottle and once again it smelt sssssssoooooo good and it did make my hair feel fresher but left white residue and a little itchy. so i would recommend this product to lighter colour hair i probably wouldn't use it again although its the best dry shampoo ive tried i just don't think dry shampoo is for me! but if you wanted to trial it just buy the tiny travel bottles from your local chemist i think i paid around $4.99 for mine :)
