Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Lotion Review

When my sister lived in the USA, I would get her to bring me a box of these every time she came home. The fragrance is SO nice. It is fresh and sweet - I always get loads of comments when I use it. The cream is a great consistency and leaves my skin feeling so hydrated and fresh.

I absolutely love the smell of this lotion and have been using it for years. The lotion works well but it's really the scent that makes this product worth it. It's such a pretty scent, subtle and light, perfect for every day wear.

i've been in love with bath and body works anything for a long time, but it's mostly the candles i love. however i've taken advantage of their sales and i purchased this lotion.

the lotion itself a bit runny and thin, but it applies easily and leaves my body feeling hydrated and refreshed. because of how thin it is i feel like i need less that i usually would, as it spreads further so its more bang for your buck.

the smell is nice, it's subtle and fresh, with a bit of extra girly added in. ive always been a fan of japanese cherry blossom scents, but having gone off them as i grew up i havent bought this again. but, it's a nice scent and does what you want it to (on your body, don't ask it to do the dishes, you'll get nowhere)

I'm literally in love with anything BBW. This is no exception, the fragrance is strong but not overpowering. It's a deep scent and can last all day. The creme itself is also moisturising. It nourishes my very dry skin and keeps it hydrated thru the day. In fact if I don't put it on a spot you'll notice the difference. For example when applying to my legs and I forget to rub into or near my ankles then it's chappy city for me. I like that it is not a pump or tube but rather a flat based plastic bottle that has a flip top lid to disperse product. Although quite pricey at a retail store in NZ,Ive still purchased it if I could order them overseas I would, as they have sales galore making a kiwi a tad jealous of the price of products in the USA alas I reside in the long white cloud and when I can get my hands on this stuff I wait to use it, not dive straight into it as to savour every bit of product.

This scent smells so good. It is relaxing and long lasting. It is very calming. You can really smell the different ingredients.

Even as I write this review I have got two of this sitting at home. One is in the old packaging with the thinner cap and the other is pictured as above. The new bottle has straight sides but I prefer the curvier old ones. Its clear plastic with the lightly pink tinged cream inside. The cap is designed where you press one side and the opening pops up and it closes the same way. It comes in a set as well. With a shower gel which I wasnt too keen on and a shimmer spray. I like glittery and shiny stuff so I was pleased with this. It leaves tiny glitters everwhere you spray. Anyways back to the cream. The scent is sweet but doesnt last too long. I find that I have to reapply atleast once more for a stronger scent but if you dont like in your face frangrance than by all means apply only once and you will be left with a subtle scent as time passes.

The cream itself is not as moisturising as other body lotions but I only use it for the scent so it hasnt been a problem for me. It does however leave my limbs nice and smooth. My mum also uses this so whenever I use it Iam reminded of her. (I associate scent with people-weird I know!).

Defiantly not BBWs best scent but it is available all year round and is simply a classic. Smells exactly like you think it would, a generic cherry blossom scent but a bit sweeter then most. It is creamy and moisturising and goes on great. The packaging is cute aswell.
