This foundation has a lovely creamy texture and has a skin-like, natural finish, so I think it would be suitable for all skin types. It's very forgiving on dry patches and sits well over texture, providing a soft blurring effect on the skin. It has medium to full coverage and wears beautifully throughout the day. I have never experienced it breaking up on the skin or settling heavily into lines which I find to be truly remarkable for a foundation. One of my all-time favourite formulas!

I have to admit I actually purchased this foundation thinking it was the long-lasting radiance foundation so I messed up here, however I gave it a go anyway and I really do like shiseido products. This one I can not make work I've tried a few different primers, no primers, using a brush, fingers and a sponge and using different amounts thinking maybe I'm using too much....I really wanted to love it because I didn't take it back to shop and exchange it and it's not cheap by any means. It just didn't work for me everytime I wear it it just sinks into every fine line, gathers around the nose and mouth and sits in my pores like tiny wee beige dots. I have more dry to normal skin even with the spf in it and not being a fully matte foundation I would have thought it would work great. By end of day its a hot mess, actually by midday it's pretty much a write off, it separated on my skin and looks very patchy. The formula itself feels lovely and the packaging is 10 out of 10 I absolutely love the twist lock lid, makes it super easy to store and doesn't leak and because the lid is built it you don't have to worry about losing it. I actually don't know who this would work for maybe my one is just an old batch I don't know, I think what I will do from here is try it again in winter and see if it will work better on my skin in the colder months and if that doesn't work I will find a new home for it. You win some you lose some I have a favorite foundation from this brand but just not this one.
