I have been searching for the perfect blue-based-red, and the shade 'Hollywood' in the Turnt Up range is absolutely perfect. A bright berry red and matches my fair skin and brown hair.
The texture of the product glides on easily. You only need a light touch to get maximum pay off. It isn't drying at all, and it doesn't seep into the fine lines of my lips.
Only 20 minutes after application I had a cup of coffee. I was dreading that my perfectly primped lippy would be rubbed off completely, but the bright red colour stayed on my lips! There was still a lot of transfer onto the coffee cup (a big red kiss mark hehe) and I had to be conscious of my hair whipping across my face and smearing red lines over my cheeks, but ultimately I was really happy with the long lasting colour.
Finally, the price. It is such a bargain, and I will definitely be buying more shades.
I was gifted this lipstick from a friend . I was so happy when I heard Nyx was coming to New Zealand . I think as a country we’ve had a lot more options in Beauty than we used to have . I remember having to order these from overseas not anymore .
Packaging is quite small. Bold eye catching. Consistency is smooth and creamy . I can’t notice any scent or flavour. I got this bright pink shade . I found it easy to apply . I notice it transfers easily . I often had to check my teeth as it was smudging easily .
Positives were I got many comments on the brightness of the colour . Downfalls a bit messy to wear . Need to keep checking mirror for transfers. Overall I think it’s priced fairly . I can see myself going out to buy it .
