I grabbed this with my foundation when Farmers did a buy 1 get 1 free on Max Factor. The foundation was fantastic but I wasn't in love with this powder.
I like a loose powder that you can shake a bit out of and while this seemed to be able to do that, the mesh layer didn't work and you had to extract the powder directly from the main supply - which meant usually too much powder. So, I ended up transferring the powder into my empty Rimmel and Natio containers.
On the plus side, it did last longer than some of the other loose powders I've tried. And the packaging looked classy.
I like using this powder directly after using a CC/BB cream as the BB cream I use can leave my face a little shiny - this softens the shine and gives a subtle matte effect. Sometimes if I really can't be bothered with a base layer I just go straight in with the powder as it helps hide oily skin. It's quite messy to use as you have to use the brush straight in the powder and shaking off the excess powder makes big plumes. Lasts all day though and definitely makes skin look soft.
Tips: Don't apply if you're wearing an important outfit (think white dress/black jeans) as the powder goes everywhere and is hard to remove!
