EOS Lip Balm

I have this in 2 flavours lemon drop and summer fruit. The packaging is extremely cute, but not very practical. It is quite bulk and takes up a lot of space so I always find myself leaving it at home. The scents are not overpowering and they smell very nice. It is not one of the most moisturising formulas that I have come across, and I find that it is only good if you're lips are in a okay-ish state; but if your lips are flaky and dry then they're not going to be of much help.

Also, these are not readily available in NZ and can be quite expensive to source online, so once the novelty of it wore off, it wasn't anything too special.

EOS Lip Balm

the packaging of these are so cute! although probably not the most practical to take outside of the house unless you have a big handbag. They all smell good enough to eat and leave my lips feeling very soft and smooth and hydrated for a decent amount of time afterwards.

I just wish there were easier to get ahold of in New Zealand, without having to purchase off overseas websites or trademe.

Little cutie

I brought a few of these at Walmart because i had seen them all over Facebook and I love them maybe i am more persuaded by the packaging but they keep my lips moisturized and smooth for a decent amount of time and smell delicious. The packaging is cute and bold and you don't have to worry about the lid cracking and falling off in your purse. I have been using for quite awhile and seems to be going a mile so not sure how long it will last.

A Must Have

I have always been eager to try these EOS Lip Balms but they are not really available in New Zealand. I found this little gem at one of the Big Bucket Sales and I just had to purchase it. I purchased the flavor sweet mint.

I love how it is a strange shape compared to other Lip Balms which I've owned. The packaging is so versatile and it's easy to store in my bag and easy to find when I need it. The fact that it has a circular screw on lid is cool too. The balm itself is pretty good. It leaves my lips feeling hydrated and moisturized even in colder weather.

I'm keen to get more of these and start a collection. The only downfall is that its hard to find them in NZ. One day I hope they become more available here.

EOS

Had seen these on Facebook, Instagram and of course youtube. The packaging is so cute and different to anything I had seen which is one of the reasons I love it :)

When I first opened mine I remember wanting to eat it because it smelled sooooo good. I got the flavour pomegranate raspberry. It's so easy to use I leave it on my dresser in my jewellery bowl, and just put it on as I go out the door :) it leaves your lips feeling hydrated and soft. Would defiantly repurchase but would look for a sale as they aren't the cheapest.

Tips: Store it somewhere that it can't roll away :)

very average product

I had recently purchased the pomegranate raspberry lip balm thinking that it would smell nice and be extremely moisturising. Since the company's name stands for evolution of smooth I thought it would be a nice smooth lip balm, or it would smoothen my lips. Boy, was I wrong... I found the scent too artificial and waxy. And the texture also a bit waxy, and not as soft as expected. In terms of moisturizing I've found it ineffective in comparison to brands such as blistex and chapstick. The only thing I enjoyed about this balm was the round shape of the balm and the pretty hot pink packaging.

I adore these balms

EOS balms are a godsend, seriously.

So smooth and buttery to apply, with super cute packaging that's easy to find in your handbag because of it's unusual shape.

My favourite one is the sweet mint, I do find the others a little sickly and artificial smelling for my liking. These last on the lips a long time so you aren't having to constantly reapply, and their shape kind of feels like you're using a cloud on your lips. Seriously though, it does haha.

Recommend these if you can get your hands on them, it's a bit tricky in NZ but slowly getting easier! Not too expensive either and you don't go through them super quickly, so decent value for money.

Another fave I learned about on the BR forums!

I wasn't prepared to adore this as much as I do. I'd seen people raving about the EOS Lip Balm on the forums and I've thought 'whatever' - but then heard they were being sold in a shop near where I live, and was on a shopping spree day, and ended up with one. Since then I've applied it approximately 417 times, whether or not I need it, because it's so darn cute that I just like using it all the time.

I got this for $8.50 at Martha's Backyard (American import store in Auckland) and there were a range of flavours on offer. I opted for Passionfruit, as it's one of my favourite scents, but quite rare to find in a product.

The EOS Passionfruit Lip Balm is a gorgeous pastel lilac, and comes in a short, squat pottle that is shaped like an egg that has had the top and bottom sliced off, and the side squished in. It's roughly golf ball sized - can be tucked into the palm of your hand - but is super easy to find in your handbag, which I *love*.

You twist it open to reveal a ball of hard gloss, that is an opaque creamy yellow. The ball sits above the edge of the container in a rounded, protruding hump. That sounds really unglamorous, but it actually looks quite cool.

Because of the unique ball shape you can purse your lips and swipe then entire thing over your mouth once. If you can stop at once you have more will power than me though, because this smells and tastes gorgeous - kinda vanilla but also the passionfruit and a sexy hint of something deeper. You'll lick it off your lips and want to reapply it, trust me.

Is this the thickest, most hydrating lip balm in the world? No. It's the cutest, and among the best smelling, but it's not ultra hydrating and probably isn't going to change your life. But it's light, pretty, fun, and I can see myself using it up and buying more, which I can't always say about lipbalm - and I'm pretty sure I've literally tried them all. It'll impart a pretty shine and nice feeling while it's on your lips, and alongside the other aforementioned benefits, I love it :) Add in to that the fact that they are 100% natural and full of goodness, and it's a pretty attractive package !
