Clarins Calm-Essentiel Redness Corrective Gel

The pumping tube is worth it. The gel is light green in colour. The smell is soft and therapeutic. It is recommended to apply once in the morning before other calming essential products. I tried it for a week or so and my face redness has settled. It’s not something that’s works overnight. You need to be consistent and patient. The consistency is good and it slides and absorbs quickly. The packaging is precise and subtle. Worth buying!

Wow, the Clarins Calm-Essentiel Redness Corrective Gel is awesome. I have very dry and sensitive skin due to medication and major redness in my cheeks. This product did exactly what it said it would, it reduced the redness in my skin and made it more softer and hydrated. I have tried other brands of redness corrector but nothing has worked as well as this did. I highly recommend it to anyone with redness in their face.

In the short time I’ve been using this product I believe my facial redness has diminished and skin tone is more even. I took before and after photos and it is slightly improved so I’m excited to keep using this product to see how it goes. Product smells nice, goes on smoothly and a small Amount is all that is needed. If this works I will Purchase again.

I was fortunate to trial this product. This cream comes in a plastic pump bottle with a plastic lid and the cream itself is a light green colour to help colour correct the skin. I have sensitive skin which is prone to breakouts / pimples and along with that comes redness. I have had a few small pimples but usually they would be bigger and more painful so I definitely believe this product has helped reduce my pimples and the redness associated with pimples. I found that this cream applied easily and absorbed quickly and there was almost immediate results with my redness reducing. I didn’t find that this cream was super hydrating but I found it worked well in combination with the Clarins soothing cream which I would apply after. Since using this cream i haven't had any reactions to the product so its been amazing for my sensitive skin.

I feel like writing this entire review in all caps because THIS PRODUCT IS SO IMPORTANT IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH REDNESS. I had it so bad that it would even start peeking through layers and layers of foundation, concealer, and powder. Not just on my cheeks, but I had red spots on my jawline, around my nose, and on my forehead.

The product smells so good, it’s easy to unpackage, the packing itself is informative and ethically sourced, and you really only need about two pumps to cover your face. I do have to pump for a bit to get anything out but two pumps once a day in the morning and I’ve been good to go. There’s still heaps left over after 10 days of use! It’s gonna last ages.

Results? Even after the first day there was an import cement in redness and feelings of elasticity and moisture. After 10 days my skin tone is even! Maybe I still get a faint blush in my cheeks but that’s completely fine! I barely have to use any makeup at all, and if I do it looks so natural and radiant! I am so comfortable in my skin, in so many ways!

I have been using the Redness Corrective Gel for the last 10 days in the mornings under my makeup.

From day one I noticed an improvement in the hydration of my skin, and a reduction in the redness throughout the day. The corrective gel applies easily and is non-greasy, requiring four pumps to cover my face and five to cover my face and neck. It glides on and is instantly ready for my SPF moisturiser and foundation to be applied over top.

It has a very pleasant scent which I was pleased about as I'm quite chemically sensitive when it comes to makeup smells/fragrances.

Overall I have noticed a definite reduction in my rosacea and redness in my skin. I am very prone to blushing, which is normally a prickly burning sensation on my face and neck, however this has also toned down since using this regime and is not so painful/annoying.

I'm very pleased with how this product has performed and it has achieved good results on my skin as promised. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone suffering from redness and rosacea.

Clarins Calm - Essentiel Redness Corrective Gel is perfect for those of us who suffer from irritated, red skin. As a runner, I expose my skin to the wind and sun regularly and as a result I often have red, sore cheeks so I was very excited to be selected to be on this trial team. The product is contained in a pump bottle with the sophisticated Clarins minimalist style packaging. I was interested to note that this range is lightly fragranced with musk - which I personally enjoyed but could be off putting to those who are sensitive to scent. The lotion is pale green and is silky to the touch. The green is designed to counteract the red and even it out. I used the lotion in the morning after cleansing and followed it up with the Clarins Calm- Essentiel Lotion. After a week of continued use I noticed that my skin appears to be more even in texture and the red “ runners rouge” is definitely diminished. I am using less concealer so that in itself is a sign of the products effectiveness!

I am so so so so happy I got to trial this product because I absolutely love how my skin is looking. I use this in the morning after washing and cleansing my face. As I'm getting older my skin is changing and reducing redness is one of my needs now. This gel glides on my skin so nicely and my skin absorbs it quickly leaving no residue or stickiness. I have been using this in my skincare routine for about 2 weeks now and I have noticed a good deal of reduced redness which I'm super excited about. Before I started this trial I could see the redness through my foundation and now I can't. The pump bottle is great for using small amounts which limits waste. The fragrance is the only thing I don't like about this product, its not the smell I don't like how strong it is. I can smell it for about an hour after I've applied it which annoys me. The results out weigh the problem with the fragrance for me so I will definitely continue using this.

I was excited to use this product as I tend to have redness in the morning due to ageing skin. This cream I used in the mornings only after cleansing and within an hour my skin was brighter and redness had disappeared. Was moisturising at the same time. The fragrance is divine and certainly did do what it was designed for. Great product to use.

I've never been convinced by 'anti-redness' products - I figured the redness would be dependant/caused by numerous factors. This wee tube has proved me wrong!

It is a lightly scented gel that applies and absorbs easily. As it is applied it seems to instantly soothe and refresh the skin - your skin just feels nicer immediately.

The gel has pigments (presumably green going by the colour wheel) and it really, really does leave skin looking less red. I mean its not 'fixing' the red, but it is definitely toning the skin to a more even finish.

I found I looked immediately less flushed and was genuinely wowed by the impact.
