L'Oreal Age Perfect Intense Nutrition Neck and Décolletage Cream Review

As with all L'Oreal Paris skincare, the packaging is luxe. The L'Oreal Age Perfect Intense Nutrition, Manuka Honey Neck and Décolletage Cream comes in a metallic gold and amber coloured box with a honeycomb graphic to represent the restorative powers of Manuka Honey. The cream itself is in a 40ml tube form (which I like) and again looks luxe in metallic gold, amber and a different version of the honeycomb graphic. It's all very pretty.

The cream is a rich 'cream' colour and is light and silky. A little goes a long way. Little as in penny sized according to L'Oreal. It smells divine and I love using it just for its light fragrance. But does it do as promised by L'Oreal? The answer is, not exactly. But in fairness, the trial period wasn't long enough to see if after '4 weeks the skin would feel smoother, firmer and have its barrier restored. Fine lines and wrinkles would be reduced' What it does do, however, is leave the skin feeling silky to touch and smelling beautiful!

Would I buy it once I've finished the trial tube? I'm on the fence. It's a bit pricey at $43.99 for a neck and decolletage cream, which incidentally I didn't know was a thing! I normally just apply my day and night moisturisers to those areas. If though, by the time I finish the tube and I have a smooth and youthful looking neck I will be most certainly rushing off to buy replacement tube!

Firstly, thanks to Beauty Review for giving me the opportunity to trial this new product.

I love body part specific creams and lotions. For example there are eye creams, do you all remember the breast cream? Now there is this beautiful neck and decolletage cream.

The packaging is a gorgeous golden browny coloured box and inside there is an equally gorgeous 40ml tube.

The tube is a soft plastic so the cream dispenses easily. The cream is a lovely golden colour, everything about the packaging, the tube and the cream reminds me of manuka honey. There is a soft manuka scent to this cream that is very pleasent.

The cream is a beautiful colour, rich golden creamy, pale yellow. It goes onto your freshly cleansed and toned face and decolletage areas beautifully. It really just glides on and sinks into your skin and there is no greasy residue. You will do this twice daily and in within a couple of weeks you will notice your skin is feeling smoother and softer. I am sure with further use those nasty fine lines will start to dissappear.

This is a product I will repurchase as I am very happy with the results.

I have used this product for the last three weeks. The first thing I noticed when I opened the product was an intense smell of honey, not unlike fresh honey still in the honeycomb. Once applied to my skin the smell became milder. The cream was thicker than I expected and held its shape when squeezed from the tube. Although thick and creamy I was surprised at how easily and evenly it spread and I used less cream than expected to get a good coverage. The directions said to use a penny sized amount of cream which was hard to gauge as it came out like a thin worm. I used 1cm each for my neck, chin, cheeks, elbows and heels. I used 3cm on one of my hands and rubbed them both together. Immediately my skin felt softer as promised on the packaging. After about a week of once daily application, I noticed that the dry areas on my hands, elbows and heals appeared a lot less dry looking. As far as facial wrinkles and fine lines are concerned I didn't notice a dramatic change, however as this is expected after four weeks of use, I will continue to monitor this over the next few weeks. In all of the areas that I used the cream my skin feels noticeably softer, especially my lips which used to always be dried and cracked. After three weeks of use, the tube still feels relatively full so I suspect it would easily last 2-3 months. It says to apply as needed so I used the product each day, applying it to the dry areas only, during my morning routine and found it quick and easy. The packaging is attractive and easy to use. The tube has a small nozzle delivers the product in small amounts which is great as I found a small amount of product goes a long way.

I was very pleased to trial this product as I am a big believer in moisturiser not being for 'face only'. I like the fact that this cream comes is a tube, albeit a smallish tube, but if it were any larger, I would probably use too much of it.

The cream feels rich and luxurious, not greasy, and a little does go a long way. It is instantly absorbed into the skin, leaving skin feeling fresh and smooth - not tight and dry. The fragrance is light and delicate and it feels altogether lovely.

In the time that I have used it I cannot see there has been a miraculous change in my skin, however, I do use a moisturiser on my neck and decolletage every day. What I can say is that I do not have a crepey neck!!! Sometimes I have noticed that it looks a little crepey and the skin looks thin, but I have not noticed this lately.

I will continue to use this cream, its my little bit of luxury everyday.

Packaging is attractive antique gold in colour with honey comb type pattern, the tube with its nozzle is plastic and squeezable with a screw top lid.

The thick lotion is a buttery cream in colour and texture with a soapy floral fragrance. If I sniff it hard enough and I’m looking for the honey maybe I can detect a small amount of Manuka honey in the scent, it’s is nice and fresh it’s not strong and fades quickly. A small broad bean size is enough to do my neck and décolletage (and my neck long) this melts into my skin on contact no sitting on top or waiting just melts on in yusssss into the lines, leaving no sticky residue thank goodness. From the first application my skin feels nice and soft and hydrated. I haven’t noticed any difference in lines I have two neck crease lines. Possibly my neck skin is a little more plumper well not so crinkle like in texture sob as that does come with age. This is nice and moisturising I’ve even had a wee venture over my face, so I’m feeling it’s a good multitasking cream.

Twice a day after cleansing I’ve been using this and I’m excited to see if the skin has changed much after using it for four weeks. There is a bit of improvement after two weeks so fingers crossed it will keep working its magic. It says more supple and firmer skin once the skins barrier is restored. So far it’s doing just as good a job as some of the more expensive creams I’ve tried.

I received this product as part of a trial team and have been using it for 2 weeks. Overall I am pleased with the cream and plan on keeping on with it to see if the benefits continue. The cream is easily dispensed out of the tube, and I generally used about a pea sized portion onto my finger or back of hand then onto a cleansed neck and decolletage (also a bit onto dry spots on my face). The scent is gentle and pleasant, and the cream absorbs quickly, leaving the area nourished, soft and slightly dewy. I used once or twice a day. The lines on my neck have smoothed out a bit and skin looks a little tighter. I think it needs more time for me to assess the full benefits, but it's looking pretty positive at the moment, for my mid 50s dry skin. One issue I do have with the otherwise attractive packaging is the small writing. For a product targeting the 60+ age group a larger font would be good. So yes I'd probably recommend this product to those concerned about these areas.

I've been using this since I received it, approx 2 weeks, daily and sometimes twice a day on my neck and decolletage area, and backs of my hands. It hasn't made a huge difference, but having said that, it has made a slight difference to the lines on my chest, they are definitely not as pronounced.

The cream itself is creamy without being greasy and it has a light pleasant scent, you can smell the honey.

I will keep using this as perhaps it hasn't been enough time to get the full benefit so I'd like to see what happens.

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to try on L'Oreal Age Perfect Intense Nutrition Manuka Honey neck & décolletage cream. For a long time I haven't done enough for my neck and chest area and it is a good chance for me. I applied this product mainly on my neck and chest everyday before going to bed and also in the morning before going to work. The cream is rich yet not heavy. It absorbs into my skin nicely. After nearly two weeks trying this product, I notice that my décolletage area becomes softer, visible radiance and obviously hydrated. This product has a very pleasant smell and the scent can last quite long especially when I apply it at night time before going to bed. The Manuka Honey scent will be around you during your sleep. Even when you wake up the next morning, the smell is still there! This product can be used on face,neck, chest or on dry, cracked area of your hands. I also applied this product on a small area of my cracked dry hand for nearly two weeks and the result really surprised me: the skin became smoother ( much better than a normal hand cream ). I believe that was the Manuka Honey's amazing work! It repaired my dry skin effectively. This product has elegant design which matching it's targeted customer range. And it is a good size when you are on the go. You can get a good amount when you squeeze it. This is a 40 ml tube. It can last quite a long time before you run out of it. I think it is good value for your money, too. I am 53 year old and I would definitely recommend L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Intense Nutrition Manuka Honey Neck & Décolletage Cream to mature skin user!

I have been using this cream from L’Oréal for the past few weeks on my neck and décolletage, I love how richly moisturising this cream is without being too heavy. I was concerned it may be sticky as it does smell a lot like Manuka honey, I quickly realised this wasn’t the case. I have never before used a specialised cream for this area of my skin and after a couple of weeks there has been a improvement of my neck area especially it’s a lot smoother. As the weather has been getting cooler and I am prone to dry skin in the winter months and I have also used it occasionally on my face and have loved how nice it feels (like a special night cream) definitely took away the tightness and dryness. It’s very rich so I won’t use it on my face very day but perfect when feeling that over dryness and need of something extra. I get small dry patches on my upper arms and have been just putting a little of this cream on the patches and they have cleared up beautifully. I am impressed with this cream and am going to continue to have use it for those extra places that need more moisture, I’m not in the 60 age bracket yet and think that anyone with dry skin would benefit from this product. I showed my younger sister who’s in her 40s this cream and after she tried it she went it and brought some, (hubby asked her what the lovely smell was she had on!). An amazing product, love the smell and how well in moisturisers into the skin without being heavy.

I have never used a neck and decolletage cream before and noticed a difference in my skin quality during the trial.

The cream came in a 40ml tube for easy application. The smell is SO divine and smelled of jasmine that lasted for a long time which I really really liked. The texture of the cream was nice and rich but absorbed quickly and left a lovely sheen on the skin. I usually only use moisturiser down to just passed my jawline, so this extra beauty step was a lovely extra. I saw a benefit in the quality of my skin. I found I only needed a small amount - the size of a pea - as this was plenty as covered a large area.
