L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Intense Nutrition Repair Day Review

The tub looked lovely and was easy for someone like me, who has arthritis, to open. The cream smelled lovely and was really thick and rich. I used this daily and found it a bit greasy, but it did seem to be great as a moisturiser for daily use and will continue to use this.

This is a paler, softer and rather creamier product than the Night Balm. Immediately after application there is, as to be expected with another honey infused product, a slight sticky feel to the skin but this soon vanishes and the skin is ready for any makeup.

I was very happy I was picked for this trial. the tub is very luxurious and feels heavy. the lid twists off really easily and inside is the cream.

the cream is lightly scented, which I didn't find irritating or intrusive on my nostrils, and it didn't annoy my skin. its thick and creamy and has a smooth consistency.

it absorbed very easily into my skin and left it feeling very nice. although I have used it daily since it arrived and it's too early to tell, but I do feel like my skin has firmed up since using this. I think with more use I will see more results. thank you beauty review, because I will probably repurchase this!

I really like this Day cream. It's targeted for dry, ageing skin and when using over the serum your skin feels hydrated and soft.

It sits well under makeup, and my skin stayed hydrated all day. At the end of the day my skin wasn't feeling tight or dry

You only need a small amount as it blends easily.

It is great worn over the serum. The cream goes on so smoothly. I haven't seen great changes in my skin yet, with longer use I imagine some changes will come.

A lovely product that I will definitely continue to use.

Packing is lovely an eye catching antique gold colour The jar is a square brown glass jar it’s nice looks expensive The cream is heavy and thick a gold in colour with just a hint of citrus for fragrance Easy to apply I do let it warm on my skin for a few seconds before I proceed to smear it around my face in circular motion avoiding my eye area then push it in with my hands. Less is more this doesn’t clog my pores or sit on top of my skin makeup or bb just slide on but not off. I’m not greasy or tacky with this heavy cream not even a shine. No spf not a problem I always apply it separately anyway I really like this it’s a day cream that ticks many boxes for me hydrated and softer I do like this it more or less leaves a barrier my skin texture and moisture level has improved so much using this. I will most definitely purchase this

The Age Perfect Intensive Re-Nourish Extraordinary Repairing Serum felt great and full of active ingredients. It absorbed quickly into my skin. The product texture was quite light.

Loved this product especially when used in conjunction with the serum. The fragrance was nice and light and not too overpowering. I found it left my skin hydrated and firm. I would definitely recommend. My only gripe was the size of the text on the packaging. Teeny tiny and not great when I don't have my glasses on.

I bought this on special as I was in need of an (anti ageing) daily moisturizer and L'oreal is my favorite mainstream drugstore brand. Turns out that this is the best daily moisturizer that i've used in a long while.

Packaged in a thick glass jar, this cream is very thick, smells lovely, all round this product has a luxurious feel about it.

Minutes after applying this cream to my face & neck, my skin looks and feels deeply nourished.

I feel that the anti ageing aspect is effective, as the last lot of botox that I had has worn off and I have concerns about harsh frown lines reforming, which they have not yet since i've been using this cream.

I would prefer a higher SPF than the mere 15+ that this one contains, however as I like this moisturizer so much, the low SPF isn't going to deter me from repurchasing. It just means that I need to make sure that I use a high SPF primer.

I plan to repurchase this when I run out.

Another fabulous product from L’Oreal. It has to be one of my favourite brands as I’ve never really been let down by a product of theirs.

Again the jar looks expensive. Another amber jar which is appealing look wise and function wise protecting from sunlight.

The light coloured cream is thick and creamy.. but somehow light on the skin. This is why I don’t think you need a lot.. it spreads well and is absorbed so you don’t feel gunky. I would use a pea sized amount if that. It’s definitely a thicker consistency and doesn’t drip.

The scent again is light but there. It’s not sickly.

I put my sunscreen over the top which seemed to work well thank goodness as I do like to wear a sunscreen during the day. This cream was well suited to wearing my makeup over the top too.. it didn’t make it slide. Considering the amount of products I had on my skin I didnt feel like it was too much or too heavy.

I expected it to be heavy but it went across my skin being absorbed right in and hydrating it as it went. My skin was hydrated for the day even with my makeup over the top. I was really surprised. So if you have dry skin this is wonderful. I struggle to drink enough water and my skin is a bit thirsty given my age so this is perfect for dry skin.

On top of feeling hydrated I noticed my skin was soft and smooth. Makeup was easier to apply. It didn’t make my wrinkles disappear but it again softened the look by hydrating my skin and making me look fresher.

The ingredients sound wonderful and helpful. Manuka is so good for us so how can it not be good for our skin. A great nz ingredient.

L"Oreal Paris Age Perfect Intense Nutrition Rich Repairing Cream is the "day" version of a trial set of three items. All products contain Manuka Honey and Calcium B5, and are marketed for "mature and dry skin" which in my case is most appropriate. I read advertising that this cream is "high in minerals and essential nutrients".

A solid 50ml jar, dark brown in colour with a gleaming gold lid which has plastic seal colour, complete with easy-lift tab, houses this product.

After cleansing and then application of the serum, the day cream goes on very easily and smoothly. The cream is an attractive pale-gold colour with a very light, clean fragrance, although its texture felt more in line with a night product. I found it is a bit "solid" and rich, but so long as I kept quantity to a minimum the cream absorbed well and certainly my face and neck felt the benefit of good nourishment. Whether the "anti-sagging/anti-crinkle" claim is effective I have yet to decide, but certainly I have had comments about myself "looking bright" which must indicate some changes!

The quick absorption of both the serum and day cream allow for prompt application of primer and eventually foundation, all seem compatible and result in a flawless finish.
