I stumbled across this foundation when a girlfriend dragged me into a MAC store - well, she didn't so much drag me and try to make me tone down my screams of excitement.
The makeup artist in the store was amazing, she listened to what type of foundation I liked to wear, my normal daily activities and what I wanted my foundation to provide. She recommended the face and body one for me to tone down the redness, and to provide a buildable coverage that didn't matte up.
This is quite a fluid formula, and spreads beautifully across the skin. The bottle dispenser makes it easy to control the amount of product you squeeze out - initially I tried to dot it on my face, but found it easier to apply to my foundation brush and then my face.
Depending on the look I am going for, I can have anyway between a really light, shear look - to a more covered even canvas. The finish is what they call satin, it's not so much a dewy look, but definitely not matte.
Now that I have visited the store and found my perfect match, I can order through Farmers.
This foundation is very sheer and liquidy and is perfect for those ‘no makeup’ days when you still want your face to look perfected. It can be built up over problem areas and is excellent on the body as it doesn’t transfer. The squeezy bottle allows you to control how much product you extract and as it’s so light weight you can get away with slightly lighter or darker tone if you made a random guess on your shade (like I did!) I will continue to repurchase as it’s a holy grail light coverage foundation
Tips: Apply with a foundation brush and then buff into skin with buffer brush for light, imperceptible coverage. Squeeze product into hands and rub together until formula thickens and then apply to face for a heavier coverage.
