Designer Brands Mineral Concealer Review

Patchy product gets into creases . Make my look older. The colour is off

I like DB for somethings but not this.

When it comes to concealer I only use it on my eye area and am no longer interested in spending big bucks on makeup the way I used to. I’ve been using this concealer for around two weeks now and I really love it. DB have a great way of mimicking higher end brands/products and they do it well! From the first use this concealer reminded me of the NARS radiant creamy concealer. Aside from the similar packaging, the actual product is incredibly similar. This concealer is a great full coverage concealer and would be ideal for under eyes and blemishes. It’s a thick, creamy consistency that once blended out looks pretty flawless. The one thing about this concealer (not a pro or a con) is that it dries FAST. You need to apply small amounts and work quickly to blend it out. The minute it starts to dry, it’s very hard to work with, and sticks in the spot you dabbed it on. Personally I don’t mind this because I think if anything it’s just a tribute to it’s great staying power, but for some people (beginners with makeup etc.) this may be a negative. Overall I love this concealer, I think it’s fantastic for the price (especially compared to the NARS one!) and it has very nice packaging, including the doe foot applicator.

I really love designer brands products so was a bit disappointed with this concealer. The packaging is super cute and formula thick and creamy, although doesn’t blend out very well and is quite patchy and cakey. I have tried a beauty blender, brushes and just my fingers and just doesn’t seem to work for me.
