Beautiful Soft Hair

So after seeing this on BR I just had to have it. I picked it up on special at New World for $12.95. I feel that the usual $17.99 for this is quite expensive especially since it is only 200mls. It comes in a squeezy tube with a flip top lid. Same gorgeous earthy colours as the matching shampoo.

After shampooing I squeeze out a small amout and slather it all over my hair. Wow it is so beautiful and thick which I adore. It reminds me more of a hair masque. I have long hair but I find I don't need a huge amout as it spreads well throughout my hair. It has the same minty, musky smell as the shampoo. So devine. It is easy to wash out and leaves my hair easy to comb with no tangles at all.

It is when my hair is dry that I can see how amazing this really is. My hair has never felt so soft before and has the most gorgeous shine. The smell lingers for days. I only wash my hair 2 times a week and even in between washes it feels and looks great.

My only gripe is I wish it was the same size as the shampoo as I will probably use 2 or 3 of these to 1 shampoo. Other than that I love this conditioner and love what it has done for my hair.

Beautifully Scented Conditioner

I have been using this conditioner since February this year! It is amazing, it tames my frizzy hair and when I leave my hair to dry naturally it feels so soft and smooth, which I normally only get if I use products after my hair has dried. My hair just feels amazing and the smell of this stuff is to die for.

The best of the three

The conditioner packaging is equally as pretty as the rest of the range, so luxurious!!

I like that the lid is on the bottom, so it makes it easy to use. This is a super thick formula which I LOVE in a conditioner, almost masque like texture. One thing I did notice about this is a little did go a long way (and I have a tonnnnneeee of hair) After i rinsed the conditioner out I felt like their was only a few tangles BUT they were super easy to comb so it did an awesome job of putting moisture back into my super dry ends.

Overall I found this to be really moisturising, and left my hair smelling and feeling sooo good. I have used this a couple of times now and have found that I only need a little conditioner and only on my very ends otherwise it makes my hair a little heavy.

Tips: a little goes a long way

SALON QUALITY

Firstly this range comes in beautiful high end looking packaging - salon quality you could say and would look fab in any bathroom! The scent is a lovely almost minty manly scent, and could certainly be a shared family range that the hubby/partner would be happy to use.

I have a tendency to get oily roots with dry ends (I have colour treated ends - Balayage) and my hair length is just below my shoulders. There are no instructions on the conditioning balm as to how much product to use or how long to leave it on for before rinsing so I left it for a couple of minutes and used a walnut sized amount, after rinsing my hair felt lovely and smooth and once it had air dried for a bit it began to feel very soft (my hair can feel thick and tangled after using some ranges, but this was exceptionally good). The consistency is a lovely thick, creamy smooth texture, and applies easily, I love how my hair instantly felt smooth after rinsing.

I thoroughly enjoyed using this conditioner, and at such an affordable price you cant go wrong.

Tips: Stick to applying conditioner to the lower lengths to avoid greasy feeling roots.

Soft Silky Safflower

'My hair was so soft when I washed it I couldn't even feel it' - this was the comment my 7 year old daughter made after using my L'Oreal Paris Botanicals Safflower Rich Infusion Shampoo & conditioner. I have to agree with her as my hair has never felt this soft with my regular shampoo.

We had some trouble working out how to open the shampoo pump but that was more of a user error (should have been wearing my glasses ;-).

I tried different drying techniques to see how it would look and I'm so impressed. After the first wash, I let it dry naturally and I was actually able to leave the house with naturally dried hair that looked half decent. I would never usually leave the house without blowdrying or straightening my hair - or at the very least tying it up as it just sticks out all over the place due to it being dry. After using the botanicals safflower shampoo & conditioner it dried really nicely and sat really well which is unheard of for my hair.

Next up was blow drying, and again, no need to straighten it as it was sitting really well. It looked really soft, silky, shiny and healthy - not the dry lifeless hair I'm accustomed to.

Lastly I blowdried and straightened my hair and it was still so soft, silky and healthy looking after the additional heat treatment. My hair can look a bit like straw sometimes after I've straightened it.

The ointment is also fantastic on both wet and dry hair. I tried the ointment over the weekend on dry hair that had been washed, blowdried and straightened the previous day. It was perfect at smoothing all the fly away hairs, without it looking greasy or unwashed. It actually looked shiny and as if it had been just washed.

We also tried it on wet hair, both my daughter and my own. I felt that it gave some extra protection before blowdrying my hair - definitely less fly away hairs. It was fantastic to use on my daughter's hair as she has long wavy hair which tangles easily. This was fantastic at detangling and leaving her hair looking amazing. All three products smell particularly lovely, as if I've just been to the hairdressers.

Overall we're so impressed with the shampoo, conditioner and ointment that we will definitely be buying this in future. The kids currently have their own shampoo & conditioner but I think I will buy this for all of us in future, or at the very least my daughter and I as it has made a huge improvement for both of us.

Extreme Silky softness!

I received this Loreal Conditioner from Beauty Review, along with its matching companions (shampoo and treatment).

I adore the packaging of this range. It's modern, eye catching and beautiful enough to not be hidden away when you have guests!

The scent of the conditioner is slightly different to the shampoo but again is lovely and can really get a good whiff of the coconut.

This conditioner leaves your hair ridiculously soft, I've not experienced it before from a non salon one! The kids and husband who also tried it loved how soft their hair was. It left their hair silky soft after it dried and had a beautiful sheen to it. My hair being bleached blonde needs a really nourishing shampoo and conditioner, and while I think this conditioner did work wonders on my hair the accompanying shampoo was to drying for my hair

Overall this is a really luxurious conditioner that was a family favourite and would purchase it again

Nourishing conditioner

I was lucky enough to receive this product, along with the accompanying shampoo and softening balm, from BR. My hair is fine and frizzy, damaged by bleaching, dying and using my straighteners. For my hair, conditioners need to be capable of bumping up the moisture without weighing it down and making it look greasy. This is a big ask, so I was interested to see how this product would go.

It was a good sign when the shampoo didn't strip my hair of the (minimal amount of) natural oils present. This allowed the conditioner to add softness and moisture without repairing damage done by over-zealous shampoo. At the end of my shower my hair felt nourished and cared-for. Used in combination with the other two products it did, indeed, give me softer hair.

The packaging is a fairly standard upside-down tube - an effective way to get all the product out of the packaging with minimal fuss. The colour scheme and design look natural and elegant. I've used expensive salon hair products before and while they're good, they're not BETTER than this, so at less than $18 each these products are great value.

Tips: Buy the whole set to get the most bang for your buck!

Very creamy

I wash my hair on a daily basis, it is chemically treated and not in the best condition, I generally use my hair dryer on a daily basis to remove excess dampness - so I need something very conditioning! With my everyday shampoo/condioner, I normally had a small amount of conditioner to my hair and leave it so I can get the hair brush through it!

I used the matching shampoo with this conditioner, and sometimes the treatment as well.

I loved the thick creamy texture of this conditioner and also the aroma.

The first time I used the shampoo/condioner my hair was nice and soft plus tangle free.

As the week went on I felt that the conditioner did not provide as good results. My hair was definitely not tangle free - though it was soft. Maybe a miracle is required to keep my hair both soft and tangle free.

A younger family member with long, non-chemically treated hair was also using this conditioner and they had 100% fabulous results, no tangles and lovely soft hair.

Conditioned My Hair A Treat!

A natural conditioner that does what it says has been something I have struggled to find in the past. Well until Beauty Review was kind enough to send me this, along with the rest of Loreal's latest hair range Botanicals Fresh Care - Safflower range.

For my hair type (I have extensions) natural conditioners contain ingredients that don't in fact condition my hair, but instead pretty much make it feel like I haven't conditioned my hair at all. I need as much moisture as possible in my hair, due to the extension not getting the natural oil from my scalp - super important when maintaining hair extensions - This conditioner though, different story. As soon as I washed it out of my hair I could feel a major difference My hair was soft, tangle free and smelt oh so good

Speaking of the scent the conditioner had more of a vanilla/coconut scent (even though there is no coconut listed as an ingredient) than the shampoo did (the shampoo had a slight minty/peppermint smell to it). It's not an overpowering scent but enough for it to linger on your hair for a few days.

I feel that my hair actually stayed softer longer than usual which I think was mostly due to the conditioner.

The one criticism I have on this product is the size. The shampoo comes in 400mls while the conditioner is 200mls. I don't know why this is always the case (conditioners containing less than their shampoo counterpart), and it probably doesn't really warrant being mentioned in this review, but if you were considering buying more in the range it may be an interesting fact for you!

Definitely will be using/purchasing this conditioner again!!! You will love if you like all natural products contained in recyclable packaging!

Tips: As it is very rich and nourishing you don't need a whole lot to condition your hair. Too much will make your hair too greasy. Try leaving it in for a minute or two as well for even better results

Beautiful conditioner for a supermarket item

Really like the packaging of this conditioner, cool colours and really catches the eye (I checked them out at Countdown).

Lovely natural conditioner which works really well for dry hair. I used the shampoo first and then applied this conditioner, didn't need to use much as it massages through hair well. It is nice and thick too which I find important.

It left my hair feeling really soft and smelled great after washing it out. I really like this conditioner, they way it made my hair feel and would definitely buy it again.

Tips: Best used in conjunction with the L'Oreal Paris Botanicals Safflower Rich Infusion Shampoo. Apart form that just use as a normal conditioner and enjoy!
