I have tried this product as a cheap alternative supermarket hair shampoo. Firstly it offers a great lather without having to use too much. The frangrance is all really good.
The pricing is also excellent at $5 to $6 from any local supermarket.
However, I dont believe it provides for great long term benefits. I would recommend this problem if you have a skin condition. If you are after something because you may have a dry scalp from a little sun burn etc.
My partner requested I buy this shampoo. He then went and used it and said it smells like chemicals so I then tried it for myself and noticed that yes it does smell weird. I have used this shampoo many years ago for my hair and it was good and got rid of dandruff. This time round it actually made my scalp more drier than ever. I would not recommend this, it is way overpriced as well.
I bought this for my husband a few months in a row to help with his dandruff & his hair smelled delicious as well as stopping the dandruff problem completely within a couple of months. Great stuff
This is my go to when I start to get a bit flakey. I find it only takes a few washes to sort it out if I get early enough. Smells nice & is silky when my hair was in good condition. Now that I'm (artificially) blonde it's not great.
I bought this one because it was a widely used brand that promises dandruff free hair and who doesn't want smooth and silky frizz free hair. Well, it didn't give me the results of a dandruff free scalp much less silky hair. I still had dandruff flakes and my hair although somewhat smooth was still dry and frizzy afterwards. I would say at best it was an average supermarket shampoo at best. I definitely wouldn't go back to using this since I have used much better shampoos and conditioners.
I was excited (crazy aye!) to see head and shoulders "hair" product, not just focused on the actual scalp but for the hair as well.
I brought the set and i didn't notice any improvement to the actual hair. If anything it didn't work as good on the scalp as the original. Certinally wouldn't say it added moisture.
I like the packaging as its easy to hold onto when your showering. Easy to see which is the shampoo easily when you have water in your eyes.
Tips: Brush your hair before you shower. Then when it comes to conditioner, run a comb through to get the conditioner all the way through. Use a tangle teezer and it will glide through
My mum has short hair and I have fairly long hair, but since mum does the grocery shopping she always buys this! I have to use alot of product on my hair, but it does the job. I love a good-smelling shampoo but this is pretty average! Pretty basic and nothing too much to rave about :) Cleans the hair and that's about it!
Tips: Dont buy if your hair is long obviously, specifically for short hair.
As my hubby says can you buy head and shoulders your snowing everywhere I suffer with psorisus on the scalp so my sheading is really bad! With head and shoulders not only does it make my hair smell great it also gets rid of the dandruff! Long term use I found did affect me a little and one day was unable to use as it gave me sores on my scalp. Have brought again and is fine after giving my head a break from it. Love the smell how thick it is. Would def love if the bottle were bigger though!
I bought this as I have mild dandruff and had never tried this type of shampoo. I used it for a week and had no change to my scalp and my hair became dry and course. It felt literally like horse hair. I told my bf to use it as he's not fussy and bought something else. Won't be Trying this again
I buy this when I start to notice a few white spots on my shoulders. I always find it works within a few washes, and I can go back to my normal shampoo.
