Head and Shoulders Smooth and Silky Shampoo and Conditioner

I ended up with a small episode of dandruff at the start of the year and I had never had it before. A friend recommended Head & Shoulders to me so I bought some to try. I noticed a difference after the first wash, and within 3-4 washes the dandruff was completely gone. It also made my hair feel especially clean and silky. I haven't had dandruff since, but I always recommend it to people who suffer from it.

This comes in a fresh white ,shaped container with blue and pick writing and design and a blue lid with a flip cap. The shampoo conditioner is a white thick lotion with a floral scent. All good to this point but I found using this has not helped my scalp and itch more after use so end up with more white flakes than before. I find the mixture of shampoo and conditioner just does not work for me and I end up with greasy lank hair.I was disappointed as it is not cheap for 70 mls however it may be just me as I do have sensitive skin.

I feels like they all manly work the same. Gets rid of flacks well. Don't no about the silkey ness tho. But don't have anything bad to say about it :)

This is the only shampoo and conditioner I use (apart from once a week my purple shampoo) on my bleached hair, it smells nice and my hair loves it ,soft silky and doesn't strip it like normal shampoos . I recommend it to my friends . love them both

I use head and shoulders only for me and my 2 children. my children suffer from psoriasis on the scalp and this product help lot with this, it stops the itch and has reduced some of the flakey stuff. I recommend to anyone with mild to severe dandruff.

I bought this product long back and used it for about a month. To say about packaging, the shampoo comes in a white plastic bottle which is curvy from one side with a cap. I like its simple and cute packaging.

The consistency of the shampoo is thick and the color of the shampoo is milky white. I love the flowery fragrance this shampoo delivers which I did not expected from an anti dandruff shampoo at all.

I had mild dandruff, so there were no much expectations from this shampoo at first from my side. The very first time I used it, I felt that this shampoo lathers good and rinses out easily. Rinsing out shampoo from my hair is quite a task for me as I have long black hair. After a week of using it, I found that it made my hair little frizzy. I also noticed that it dried my scalp. So, I had to use a heavy nourishing conditioner with it. The smooth and silky conditioner did not help. However, I must say that it did its primary task quite effectively. It did reduced the dandruff and prevented it all the while I was using it.

I recommend oily and normal scalp people who have dandruff to try this shampoo. Dry scalp people will need intensive conditioning of the hair if they want to use it.

I love it! Gets rid of dandruff with regular use, hair smells great for hours and my hair is A LOT more easier to brush especially when the shampoo is teamed up with the smooth and silky conditioner. The only complaint I have is that it's kind of expensive but I don't mind paying more because it really does the job.

I have extremely long hair which is also quite dry, so therefore I need to look after it. My scalp is very sensitive, dry and "dandraffy," and I also get eczema around my hair line. This shampoo does not exacerbate the eczema, but helps decrease it (it has actualy disappeared but I believe this is mostly because of the new skincare range I have been using). I only wash my hair every 5 - 7 days, so this product isn't always great at keeping dandruff away as I don't use it often enough. I do not need to wash my hair more often than I do because it does not get oily.

I only use the shampoo and not the conditioner (I use a conditioning treatment on the ends). It cleans my hair well, and has a pleasant clean scent. I does not dry my hair out - my hairdresser who colours and trims my hair said to me "your hair continues to amaze me," by which she meant that she expected the product to strip my colour and dry my hair out, which it does not. Maybe it would if I was to use it more often though.

Smooth and silky shampoo really does leave my hair feeling just that! I would recommend it to someone with a similar hair and scalp type as mine, but maybe not someone who has dandruff and coloured hair as it might strip the colour.

Pros: It started reducing my dandruff. I hardly have dandruff now, the shape of the bottle looks different (in a good way) from other designed shampoos and conditioners.

Cons: it damaged my hair, it dried out my hair, it smells weird, it didn't work for my hair, it frizzed my hair I wish I could share the pic of my hair. It just didn't work for me at all.

This product wasn't nice to me. Not all products work for everyone.

I am not a huge dandruff sufferer. When I do spot some, I use Head&Shoulders;, with good results. When the problem is resolved, I go back to whatever other product I have on the go at the time. However, my partner suffers badly from dandruff and has not yet found a solution, having used Head&Shoulders; fairly constantly over the years.
