Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation Review

The staying power of this foundation is immaculate! However I have a few criticisms... If you want a fuller coverage you will need a couple of applications around redness and blemishes, and it can stick to peach fuzz quite a bit. Other than that it's amazing for oilier skin, would not recommend for dry skin though.

I like the formula as I love to hide my freckles and it give good coverage I've tried two shades (one at department store) and it was very yellow which I wasn't a fan of and still trying to figure out what my proper shade is sadly, super long lasting which I love as well!!

This foundation is really good, its consistency is quite thick and it provides really good coverage. It lasts all day long which is great. I found that it made my skin very dry and also broke my skin out which unfortunately put me off using this foundation. It also requires a lot of make up remover to get this foundation off as well.

I like a lot of things about this foundation - it has great coverage, blends really well and easily and stays on all day. There are a lot of choices in colour, as well, so you can be matched to a shade really close to your own. The only downside is that it slips into the dry places on my skin (around my nose and eyes) and makes my skin look even drier.

I purchased this foundation after numerous ravings on makeup obsessives. I LOVE it!!! It's very expensive about $80 so I save it for special occasions most of the time. It matches my skin tone, stays flawless without touch ups til night time!!! I love the full coverage it gives me as I have a few imperfections :) I love it so much that I've convinced a few friends to purchase it too :)

I was recommended this foundation by so many people as a holy grail type foundation. It has amazing coverage and stays put all day, but the coverage is just too much more me. I feel a bit cake faced with it on and I feel like it emphasises all the tiny hairs on my face. I also felt like my face cracked slightly through the day, but it only felt that way there were no visible signs of the cracking.

Double wear hands down is the best long wearing/staying in place foundation there is. Theres nothing on the market like it! its a very versatile foundation, although people say its full coverage which yes it is, its also a build-able foundation too. I don't personally like a heavy look in the day time so i just apply one layer and it covers without looking too heavy. The bottle is handy too if you don't use all the product you can just scope the rest back into the bottle.. Its too precious to waste!

I love this foundation ALOT! It is great full coverage and long lasting. The downside to it was it made me breakout, however that is with everyday use so now its my going out foundation. Super hard to get off completly and is very sticky so takes quite a few washes and LOTS of coconut oil, otherwise i think its FAB :)

I bought this foundation as EVERYONE raved about it. I have combination/ oily skin and this product did not look good throughout the day. I found it was quite patchy and very heavy when I had it on, like my skin was not breathing. The application was nice but did not stay as it was throughout the day.

On the upside, the various shades mean the color matched me perfectly and the coverage was good.

Unfortunately, those with oily skin I would not recommend this as this just adds to the oiliness. This is GOOD if your only going out for a short time (not in the heat).

I am a MAC lover usually but have found that I really need to use a primer, powder and finishing spray to get it to last the whole day. Estee Lauder Double wear really does last ALL day. Lots of shades to choose from so i'm sure one to fit most people. It doesn't rub off and looks flawless.
