I bought this lovely foundation in N18 after consulting with a MAC artist/salesperson. She was extremely helpful and did my face so I could see how it looked. I used to sweat profusely (I don't so much now) so I asked for make-up that could hold up against perspiration, and this certainly does. It is a thicker viscosity than I am used to but it blends super-easily and plays well with others (I use setting powder, bronzer, highlighter, blusher). I have a reddish pale complexion so I am very wary of foundations that either highlight this or look orange and/or muddy. The smell is neutral and the pump bottle doesn't release too much at a time. I use a brush and dispense from the side of my hand. The bottle has a handy lock function so it doesn't spill in your make-up bag. It is a high-end foundation, at an rrp of $72, but you are wise to spend on a quality base.

Tips: ALWAYS ask a MAC consultant for a match, get them to apply it on you, as foundation is notoriously hard to self-match and you don't want to waste $72 on an ill-match that will mock you on your dresser.
I have used the MAC Pro Longwear Foundation for a wee while now and overall have found it to be good for popping out of the house or on the weekends, but doesn't quite cut it for a long day at work. I find the consistency of the product is a bit too thick and matte for my liking, resulting in a slightly unnatural finish. While it stays on very well throughout the day, it definitely starts to fade and look less-than-hot after maybe 5 hours of wear? I like to compare foundations to Estee Lauder Double Wear (my HG product), which lasts an easy 8-9 hours while still looking pretty much perfect. So for this reason I won't be repurchasing, but I'll happily finish the bottle I have when popping to the shops.
I have twice now had a bad colour match by MAC staff so perhaps that's why I feel a bit mixed about this product, I found the coverage is excellent and I don't need concealer when I use it which is great. I did struggle to blend it to my neck, perhaps this is because the colour match was not correct so I have to be careful with my tan and can only wear it when I'm on day 3-5 of my tan cycle!. It did remain tacky for some time after application which I found slightly irritating when it came to applying contour and blush but did dry a bit after 10 min. I have oily skin and this product reduced shine all day and stayed put like no other makeup I've tried. Generous bottle size also is a plus and I'm a sucker for a good pump application. Going to try and get a match one more time before I give up and try another brand.
Tips: I apply with fingers then pat with beauty blender for medium coverage. Beauty blender alone absorbs way too much of this foundation and gives a sheer coverage. Test the colour match in natural light before you purchase!
Absolute favourite foundation for going out, build able coverage does a really nice full coverage look with out going cakey. Definitely recommend if you have oily skin, works so well for mine! feels very hight on skin!
I was looking for a foundation that gave me a fuller coverage and wanted to splurge a bit from my drugstore foundations. I watched many YouTube review videos and decided to head to a MAC counter. The lady at the counter matched me with this particular foundation and I was in love. It matched my skin perfectly and the coverage was excellent on my skin. It also stayed all day with no steaks or rubbing. I also left that day with almost $300 in products. Although it’s a bit more pricy, I believe it’s worth the money!
Tips: Apply with a foundation brush as the foundation will go much further.
I have been using this foundation for many years. This foundation stays on your skin, I never was able to sweat it off! It has an spf ingredient, you never need to use a lot so it lasts and is smooth to apply. Get MAC to choose your colour!
Tips: Use with a MAC concealer - this formulation is best used with products from the same brand so that they all sit well on the skin for a natural look
After trying many foundations mostly drugstore, I decided to purchase my first Mac Foundation. I read Make Up Artist Dylan's review and I was sold on it from that moment. This is the most money I've ever spent on a foundation ever.
This bottle is clear so you can see the colour of the foundation through it. It's a simple design. I love that's it's a pump bottle and how you can lock and unlock brilliant little feature. The consistency of this foundation is liquid. There's no scent.
I can easily use this foundation with a blender or brush. I can easily build this foundation up to a full or medium coverage without it looking cakey . I start work at 6am by 2pm my foundation hasn't moved I've still got coverage.
Overall I'm so glad I spent my money on this. I had high hopes for this foundation and it paid off in coverage. I've finally found my foundation. I wish it was cheaper so I could buy it all the time. It's definitely worth every penny .
This is my go to foundation, coverage is build able so is great full coverage! Easy to apply, and lasts all day without setting spray!
This foundation for me is my absolute favourite, great coverage and long lasting, I am vary between NW13 & NW15 depending on the time of year but i find both shades amazing, such a nice consistency and very easy to apply

I just love this foundation. It comes in a very pretty dispense glass bottle. They have the perfect shade for my skin i just always have to wait a lonh time for a mac person to help me.
This foundation i easilu buildable and i applu 2 laywrs and that gives me the full cover that i want and it has a nice matt finish.
