Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation Review

Love this foundation, I have combination oily skin and find that a lot of foundations get very oily by the end of the day. Double wear always lasts the entire day staying flawless. Its light and an amazing coverage without being cakey

This foundation makes my skin flawless!

It has amazing coverage and does not budge all day. I can go for a nap in it and wake up and my makeup will still be perfect!

It is light weight on the skin, and easy to apply. Easily to blend also. It is fantastic.

When I first started using this foundation I loved it for its staying power..it REALLY stays on but after a while I started to feel that my skin just couldnt breathe during the day lol..sometimes it was a bit cakey, especially if I was dehydrated...all in all though I do use it for its staying power and great matching shade....

My sister gave me a half used bottle of this as she was chnaging shades for the season. Oh, amd I glad she did that. This foundation is amazing. Goes on really easily and blends well. The coverage is excellent so I don't need to go back and reapply over any areas. It stays on all day and looks just as fresh when I get home in the evenings as when I left in the mornings. It even stays put through my gym sessions! I am a true addict now and definitely recommend giving this a go!

I actually got this product in a tester pot first and purchased shortly after. First day I was wearing it I received compliments on how 'perfect' my skin looked. I didn't think much of it because I only wear make-up on occasion. But every single time I wore this I got great results - and people noticed.

I was colour matched in Lambton Quay Farmers and they got the colour match perfect. It goes on nice and light, but can be built up under the eyes if you're like me and have dark circles. It provides a perfect everyday coverage and all I need to do is a finishing powder or blush. Some days I go without this and it still looks great. I keep the coverage relatively light but it still does a fantastic job.

The coverage lasts all day. It still looked great 16 hours later! Which is amazing. I didn't find I got oily patches and the colour definitely withstood a full day of wear. I have already recommended this to a friend! My new favourite foundation.

Love it! I went in store to sample this but ended up buying it :) I have this in 2W2 Rattan. My skin type is oily/combination.

It is about medium coverage and applies to a velvety texture - it feels very light weight . For those with dry skin type, the SA suggested you mix the foundation with a serum type moisturizer (she did this with me as I was a tad dry that day)

The lasting power of this is awesome, I find i'm not as oily (not expecting a miracle) part way through the day and the foundation hasn't "broken down" to a complete mess after a days wear. One thing i do recommend is pairing this foundation with Estee Lauder Illuminating primer (seriously this is the best primer I have come across - check it out). I believe this primer helps with the staying power and also because it is illuminating it helps with this foundation as it may look quite flat/dull.

Remove with cleansing oil/makeup remover, follow up with your regular facial cleanser to prevent clogging of pores/break outs.

I havent purchased full bottle of this product yet (broke student) but I have definately gone through my fair share of tester pottles. I have normal to dry skin so this foundation isnt exactly meant to do what it does on my skin but as far as coverage and buildibility it is top notch. 10/10 will definately forever purchase

I found out about the 10 day trial for this from a Forum here on BR and popped in to the local Farmers to see if it was true. The lady who served me was amazingly helpful and instantly matched me with the lightest shade, Ivory Nude. Not expecting much as I've never actually found a colour that matches my skin, I was very pleasantly surprised to not be able to tell I was wearing it except my skin looked flawless. I have very dry skin and was warned about this product but so far I have no complaints, I have no problem slapping on a bit more moisturiser every morning. Will definitely be purchasing this product, feels amazing, lasts, and doesn't smell terrible. It is also very light weight.

I recently was given some Doublewear as a gift, I'd been meaning to buy some for ages but was hesitant to spend so much money on a little bottle of foundation. The bottle itself is really cute and classy, not as handy as a pump bottle but the formula is thin enough that it's easy to get out, even if there's only a little bit left. I've found it quite difficult to find a foundation that gives me a good amount of coverage without drying out my T-zone, even with moisturizer. Luckily this didn't seem to be a problem with Doublewear, I applied it over a primer and it evened out my complexion without looking cakey, and with no hint of dryness/settling into pores. It does tend to stick to 'peach fuzz' a little bit so you need to apply it carefully, but it's definitely my favourite foundation so far. You also don't need to use a lot of product to get a good result, so even though it's more expensive than drugstore foundation it lasts a long while. I will probably buy the full-coverage Doublewear when my current bottle runs out, as I tend to only use it on nights out or special events when I want my skin to perfect.

I have been using this foundation for a number of years. Becus it is so light I wear it most days. My skin tends to be slightly oily but this prouct does not have the midday slippage. Overall the colour range and ablity to blend is a plus.
