Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation Review

I LOVE my double wear foundation. it always looks good regardless of what primer I use. so it is definitely a more medium to full coverage foundation but it can be a bit more natural looking depending on amount used and how applied.

I find if I want really full coverage to use a brush to apply it, a sigma f80 or similar works well.

If I want less coverage I use a beauty blender (my go to), I also find that you can start out with less product and keep building if you want more full coverage.

this foundation is certainly on the matte side, I do not mind this though as I have combo skin, I like to add my shine on after.

I do not find it oxidises on me, it covers the redness on my checks and makes my pores dissappear, and no matter the occassion, it never lets me down.

I do not wear makeup to work everyday so I am unsure If I would use something this heavy as my everyday. but because I do not use it all the time I don't find it too expensive.

It does irritate me that it doesn't come with a foundation pump, but you can buy the MAC foundation pumps and they fit the bottles so while annoying is not a deal breaker.

I love love love this foundation and the coverage. Super easy to get matched with having darker skin. One of the foundations ive found that i can get a really good match in. The bottle is super cute and easy to get foundation out of . I love the coverage it gives and the smooth all over look if you blend it quickly. the only thing i dislike is it dries really fast so if you don't blend it fast enough it looks really terrible on my skin as i do have tanned skin so it shows quite a bit and is quite blotchy . But when i do blend it in quickly before it dries i love the end result .

There is a reason this is so highly rated! Glides on beautifully to give a full coverage without looking cakey and lasts all day. Foundation is one thing I never skimp on - this product isn’t exactly budget friendly but the results are worth it. Does what it says it does!

I bought this foundation after reading many great reviews. I have VERY pale skin so bought the shade "bone" but I found the undertones were still slightly yellow for my liking. The coverage is amazing and FULL but if you are applying with a beauty blender it needs to be barely damp and work in areas or else it drys really fast and ends up cakey. I also didn't like that it really brought out all my little facial hairs. I think this foundation is a great choice for those who want really full coverage, or for a glam night look!
