e.l.f Brow Kit Review

This is the first eyebrow kit I have used and I love it I have only ever used pencils before and I'm definitely a eyebrow kit convert.

It doesn't budge during the day stays put and is easy to remove. I brought mine in the colour ash from kmart for $10 and I find it the perfect colour for me not too dark and really natural looking. The packaging is nice a compact with a mirror and small brush that isn't the best but still usable.

The gel side is definitely the best I am a little confused on what the powder side is actually for I did try it and didn't notice what it actually did but I am really happy just buying it for the gel

My eyebrows are quite thin so I definitely need to fill them, especially when I'm wearing foundation.

I love this product! It's such a great product! Mine is in the dark shade. The wax is a great texture. Glides on easily. I definitely find a little goes a long way, so take it easy on the application. It can get quite dark! It's so easy to shape and define your brows, however I definitely find using better brushes gives a better result. The brush it comes with is fine, but a bit to small for my liking. I get a better result when I use my own brushes.

The setting powder definitely helps to just finish it off. Not a necessary, but if you want that perfect brow, use the setting powder!

I find it can last a night in town, having a good dance with the girls with no smudges! It's definitely my go to when I'm filling in my thin, bald brows :)

Can't complain with a cheap price. I get mine from Kmart for around $10. It lasts a long time too!!

I have awful eyebrows and this is the best product I have ever used to hide them. My eyebrows are long, and each hair is curly (crazy I know). My hair is straight with a slight wave.

I use the shade dark to match my dark brown hair, although my eyebrows would probably better match the medium shade. Because the dark shade is so dark, it hides each hair better too.

The wax is easy to apply with the thin side of the brush that comes with it, although I do plan to purchase a standard size eyeliner brush similar in the future. It's quite a creamy wax, nut super sticky and hard, so its nice to apply. I use little strokes beginning in the middle of my brow working toward the outer end. I use the remaining product closer to the inside.

The powder is a nice shade, paler than the wax. It is quite powdery, making it a bit messy. The fluffy end of the brush the kit comes with is acceptable at applying the powder, however I definitely think a more standard sized brush would make it easier to apply.

Overall my eyebrows are well filled in, but still look natural which I really appreciate.

The product lasts all day or all night. I don't think it would go from day to night very well though. I have oily, pimple-prone skin that's also extremely sensitive and this product does not exacerbate any of these conditions.

The eyebrow kit doesn't really have any kind of fragrance. It's nice to have something that doesn't smell plasticy or full of chemicals.

I would highly recommend the ELF eyebrow kit to people because it's affordable, effective and easy to use, although I do wish it was more readily available in NZ.

I have had the same compact of this for over two years!! I fill my brows in everyday at first I preferred to use the wax on its own it did an awesome job but when it ran out I just used to shadow part on its own and it does a pretty decent job! Such a good price for quality makeup! Have recommended it to most of my friends and they love it too. I currently have it in my Iherb cart waiting to be repurchased!

This is probably got to be one of the best priced and quality makeup items around, big call yes! Great value for money, I got this in a recent Iherb order, in medium. It literally is only a few dollars, the pigmentation is really good, it stays on my eyebrows all day, I tend to use the wax side more often than the powder. One of the best value eyebrow product around.

This is the only brow kit I've ever used and I really like it. It might be pretty standard, I don't know, but it works for me! It fills my brows in properly, doesn't fade and doesn't smudge. I have pretty dry skin though so it might be smudgy on people with oilier skin.

My opinion on e.l.f Brow Kits differ greatly compared to the other reviews on the most part because it doesn't stay on and leaves me with horrendously thin and patchy eyebrows whilst in the middle of town. I purchased this in the Medium Brown and found that the colour matched my hair colour and skin tone perfectly and once I had watched some tutorials gave it a whirl.

It was easy to use once I got the hang of it and filled my eyebrows in perfectly but the huge downfall was that it doesn't last all day! The brush that it comes with it a dud and should not even be in the same packaging because it downgrades the quality instantly. The brush was hard to use and the bristles are far too soft to get a nice sharp edge so it a waste of time using.

I find that it lasts for a long time because you don't need alot on the brush to achieve maximum results. The annoying thing besides it not lasting for long is that I had to purchase a separate eyebrow brush so that I could use it correctly when I could have paid the same amount for one product that would have worked and come with a good brush.

In summary the e.l.f Brow Kits is cheap but low quality and mediocre at best.

After finalising my purchase on Iherb, I feeling of relief to be back online shopping!

For $3 USD I picked this bargain up! And I've pretty much fallen in love! After using brown eyeliner pens to do my eyebrows, I've fallen out of love with everything pencil like.

Excitedly opening up the packaging, It came with 4 brow stencils, and yellow slanted thin brush, and a pallet of a gel dark brown and a matte like darker beige colour powder. I was too excited to try this product, that I ended up forgetting I had other items to open in the box.

Rushing off to the bathroom to try this beauty, it was so easy and pretty much fool proof to muck up! The brush you get given is very easy to use and hold. After 2 weeks use, this is an everyday, every morning routine, even if I don't want to wear much make up, this is my go to after I wake up!

It makes my brows much more fuller and more defined. So happy with this purchase!

Would 10/10 recommend to my friends and family!

I use this affordable kit everyday to fill in and deepen my brows everyday. I actually prefer this over the higher end products. The Ash colour is perfect for Blonde hair tones as it doesnt have any ginge in it. The wax lasts all day. I usually skip the powder part as I find I dont need it as the wax holds by itself. It can be used as a multi purpose product.. liner/ crease color pretty handy. The brush however was very scratchy and didn't bend enough so it got the heave ho and replaced. A definite H.G.
