I picked this up on sale in my local Countdown for a couple of dollars. Bargain! I have thick long curly wavy/hair and I am forever on a mission to find a product that will maintain my mop.
I loved the smell of this as soon as I took the seal off. Lovely aromatic scent, that lingers in your hair after application. Creamy formula that absorbs into my hair fast, I have very dry hair. I found this works best put through damp hair. It also lasts a day longer than just putting into dry hair.
My hair does look nice after use. A good styling product. However its only a temporary measure. My hair does revert to its naturally wild state within a few hours.
I would repurchase if it was onsale again just because I like the smell.
Best. Thing. I. Ever. Did.
I’ve done it, I’ve finally done it. I’ve found a supermarket conditioner that above and beyond excels compared to salon products I’ve used over the years. I had been using the Lavender Botanicals prior to purchasing the Camelina, which was great, but the smell of the Camelina melted me and it was insanely cheap with $18.00 off!
Easy to mix up the two different Camelina Smooth Ritual products in a tube when looking online. They sell a 200ml conditioning balm (what I was using/am using), along with a 100ml frizz antidote, leave-in treatment. Identical packaging, other than size and the small print details. I purchased the treatment after using the balm and found not a huge difference between the two, so have stuck with buying the 200ml balm.
If the heavenly & delicate scent wasn’t enough to draw you in, the dense & rich texture will. Sweet vanilla and light floral notes will envelop your senses as you nourish your locks. I use the balm twice a week and am generous when applying. The balm is very thick, in a dry hand, you could tip it upside down and it wouldn’t drip. I begin my application mid-length, working my way down to the tips, and then the residue up closer to my scalp. I massage through my hair. After a good 5 minutes, I use a wide-toothed comb and remove any dead/broken hair. Satin. It feels like satin. If your hair needs some serious TLC then I strongly recommend leaving it in overnight & rinsing in the morning. Even my hairdresser commented on how healthy my hair has been looking! I’m left smelling my hair for days xxx
Tips: After investigating further online, it seems this is no longer sold at Countdown supermarkets. I have still seen it at Farmer's and in pharmacies though :)
